12.30 Southwell - NAVARRO PRINCESS - Shrewd trainer and well worth having a crack at this trip at 8's.

1.45 Turffontein - DUNAS DOURADAS - Fair enough debut 7th, when green and should improve a ton for that at 7's.

2.20 Turffontein - GERTIJE - Was found to be coughing after decent enough debut, so fair to expect improvement at 8's.

2.55 Turffontein - CANDY KISSES - Got tired late on last time, but the better ground today will help at 5's.

3.20 Catterick - HASSAB - 3 Fair runs to date and last time was back off a break, so carried extra merit. Should be thereabouts at 7's.

4.10 Turffontein - PACHUCO and MAJESTIC BAY - The latter should get much closer to the FAV this time at the weights and is maybe a shade big at 6's. MB is risky as had breathing issues last time. Fitness taken on trust therefore, but is capable on a going day and gets in on a very low weight at 14's.

5.20 Turffontein - SECRET HARBOUR and RACING FREE - Top and bottom of the card with this one. SH has a fair chunk of weight to carry, but is down to a 72 rated handicap and is an honest sort, likely to run his race at 8's. RF was found to have a mouth injury after his last run, so did well to get close. Another risky one, but is getting weight all round and could easily go close at 10's.
