PDC World Darts Championship Betting 2020

Nearly that time of the year.
I was talking to Howson this week who's a huge darts fan and he was singing Gerwyn Price's praises and I tend to agree with him.
He's the sports most improved performer this year and beating MVG last week for the first time sets him up for the World Championships nicely.

8's looks a cracking price for Price so to speak lol and I should imagine you'll be able to lay that for a fraction of it as the tournament goes along.

Backed Price at 8/1 to win the Grand Slam after he beat Anderson, couldnt believe bookies were giving 8s.

He had never beat MVG but his last 5 losses were all in the last leg, and in my opinion it was just a matter of time before he beat him, the way he had been playing the last few months.

He battered Wright in the final and Wright had been playing well himself, but he couldnt keep up with Prices scoring or match him on the doubles.

Ive backed Price at 10s to win the world title, beating MVG will have got that demon off his back and his confidence will be sky high, he is also a lot fitter than any of the other players, so any long matches on a hot stage wont bother him at all.

My only slight concern is the set format, hes won the Gran Slam the last 2 years and thats leg format, which is what he prefers.

Will post some more picks after the draw is made

Starts this weekend:)

odds are correct at time of publishing (00:01 on 12/12/2019) and subject to change.

MVG to win quarter 1, Michael Smith to win quarter 2, Dave Chisnall to win quarter 3 and Gerwyn Price to win quarter 4.

Chisnall, Price and MVG all been in form the last 2 tournaments, and Smith has got a good record at Ally Pally - backed that at four fold at 50/1.

Had a saver Nathan Aspinall to win quarter 2 instead of Smith that four fold 66/1

Gone big on Price to win it - can get 5/1 on MVG meeting Price in the final, that outcome is highly likely especially if they both get through the early couple of rounds

Luke Humphries and Devon Petersen, been very unlucky to draw each other in Round 1. Jamie Hughes and Zoran Lerchbacher could also be a good match up and it certainly could have been easier for Fallon Sharrock as she has drawn " Super " Ted Evetts. Mikuru Suziki may have a stronger chance of progressing as she has drawn James Richardson.

Overall, Mensur Suljovic is a backable 50's and his draw does not look bad. Would have liked to see a bit more from him recently, but could easily get a run for my money. Fellow Austrian Rowby John Rodriguez has a potential 2nd round match with Peter Wright, but does have plenty of game and don't mind a small EW at 1000's

On current form that could prove to be a wise bet.

RVB and Darrin Young up next, in potentially Barney's last match. Plenty of good stuff so far, with Luke Humphries looking like he might be up for another run. Hughes and Lerchbacher was indeed a good match and went down to the deciding leg, with the latter winning having previously had 9 match darts. Final match of the session is a 2nd rounder between Kim Huybrechts and Rob Cross. The Belgian has slipped down the rankings lately, but remains a big threat. Thought Mark McGeeney looked OK today, so another small EW added at 300's

Cross was terrible last night, think hes got problems with his throw.

Luke Woodhouse might be worth a little bet tonight at about 4/1

I rarely get chance to follow the darts, but been keeping an eye out for this fella as he's my best mates, mrs, nephew.
He's putting the hours in and on the up, i know that. Good luck to him.

Had a small punt on him @ 4/1, for interest sake.

My mate says he has a chance if he can finish like he did yesterday but it's a big ask.

He was superb Punt, very impressive indeed - hope you got a good return.

Im not sure who he plays next, but if he plays like he did last night, he will be every hard to beat.
