He obviously doesn't.

Carroll has scored 5 times this season, three times in the Prem (v Wolves , WBA and Everton) and twice in the cup (v Oldham and Exeter), so all goals have been against teams in bottom half of Prem or in a lower division. He's started 9 games v teams in top half of Prem and scored a grand total of FUCK ALL goals.

Expecting him to score twice against 3rd placed Spurs was like expecting Swoops to get his weight down to 12 stone.

In Yorkie's defence, there hasn't been a great deal of media coverage of what a massive great big flop Carroll has been since moving from Newcastle and how the whole world (outside Merseyside) is laughing at the fact that "King Kenny" paid £35 million for a player who couldn't find the back of the net with two sat navs and an AA route map.

You can see how he might have missed the story whilst "researching" his other football bets.
