12.20 Vaal - THE GREAT QUEEN - Stable 2nd string ( to the FAV ) and not really put in any of her 3 runs to date. Taking a punt that this one is better than previously shown at 50's.

12.55 Vaal - SARGEANT SMILEY - Moderate debut effort ( behind today's FAV ) but would have come on for that run. Big drifter and slow starter on said debut, so capable of massive improvement today at 16's.

2.05 Vaal - PIUS OIL - Holds some fair recent form and he is weighted to reduce the 4 lengths deficit with the FAV on last time out's running. Strong finisher, so will need luck in running, but does look a bit over - priced to me at 16's
 
2.50 Doncaster - REEVES - Nicely bred newcomer, with Jamie Spencer booked at 20's.

3.15 Carlisle - TIE A YELLOWRIBBON - Stable has occasional debut winners and this one is nicely enough bred at 14's.

4.10 Nottingham - NO WAY JOSE - Hinted at ability on debut and the stable can improve on dramatically at 11's.

5.55 Dundalk - UNIVERSAL FOCUS - Running well enough at present and remains on a fair looking mark at 10's.
 
5.25 Downpatrick - DO YOU KNOW WHAT at 14's

5.30 York - RED CYMBAL at 12's

5.50 Chester - RED FORCE ONE at 10's

6.25 Downpatrick - UKNOWWHATIMEAN at 25's

12.20 Turffontein - HARINGTON PORT - Has ability and couple of decent course runs give him a squeak. Has been expensive to follow though, so just a small EW at 25's.
 
12.55 Turffontein - GOLDUST WOMEN - One of 2 available at 66's on the early prices and not sure anything should be 66's this field. For me, has way more ability than the other " rag " and would expect her to open shorter on track.

1.30 Turffontein - VIRGINIA MOON - Stable 2nd string and a tad inconsistent, but fair chance on best form at 18's.

2.40 Turffontein - MANX PARK - Just not been getting home lately, but continues to drop in the ratings and has the plum draw today at 33's.

3.45 Turffontein - RAMBO - 10yo now, but seems to retain enough enthusiasm / ability and lurking on a very dangerous mark at 33's.
 
1.15 Kenilworth - ALL THE SEVENS - Ran OK in all 3 starts to date and can improve again at 12's.
 
Good Luck if you're betting today Samoan. I've had a small punt on REGULATION @ 11/1 in the 4.20 @ Stratford.
Disappointing in an Amateurs race last time, but a good 2nd previous to that here before.
 
Last meeting of the Season over in Hong Kong and all the individual titles have been sorted, so having a go in the last 3 races -

9.40 Sha Tin - HOME RUN - Draw not totally suitable for his racing style, although the recent rain may negate this. Fancied runners all come here off the back of wins and generally quite difficult to follow up here. HR arrives in good form and may prove a bit big at 16's.

10.15 Sha Tin - ALL GREAT FRIENDS - Came good this time last year and running OK at the moment ( eased when beaten last time out ) Back to 6f today and potentially very nicely weighted, so happy going in at 33's.

10.50 Sha Tin - MR GENUINE - Bit below best recently, but nicely weighted, well drawn and is very capable this level. Fair EW at 14's.
 
10.50 Sha Tin - Already with Mr Genuine, but TEAM FORTUNE paraded really nicely and available at fixed odds of 201 and could not resist a couple of quid at such a price. Probably needs a class drop, but was unlikely to get that in the last meeting of the season, so just hope they have a bit of a go today
 
2.25 Killarney - JUST SHERRY - 2nd to the useful Catfish is pretty decent form, but poor last time. Has mixed the odd solid effort with some poor ones, so hard to know what to expect, but best form does give her a chance at 10's.

4.15 Sligo - MUROOR - Course and going where he may just get the trip and comes here fit from the flat. Does have a bit to find, but not enough to justify the 18's on offer.

5.00 Southwell - FLED OR PLED - Not the most consistent, but capable on a going day and this looks a weak race for the grade at 12's

5.35 Southwell - DEAR DORA - Decent sort, bred more for the flat, so interesting that he starts in Bumpers at 25's.

With you on this one Punt, though as of 12pm had drifted to 14's. Went with the extra place down to 3rd therefore at 10's
 
Monday 16th July

1.50 Flamingo Pk - SAINT MARCO - Fair chance at the weights, though does need to leave 2 recent poor efforts behind him. 12's is just enough to tempt.
 
6.30 Killarney - SAGA ALTAIS - Went well last time for this inexperienced jockey and fair chance based on that at 12's.

6.40 Wolverhampton - HAMMERTIME - May prove a tough race for the grade, but happy risking this nicely bred newcomer at 40's.

7.30 Killarney - ALMONTASER - Ran nicely on recent h'cap debut and whilst I would have rather seen him upped in trip today, does at least look on a handy mark. Should be enough pace in the race for him to aim at and 20's looks a shade generous.

2.00 Beverley - PRINCESS POWER at 12's

3.50 Chelmsford - DUKE CASIMO at 10's

5.00 Beverley - HOLY WINGS at 14's

6.10 Thirsk - LAST GLANCE at 50's
 
Wednesday 18th July

1.40 Lingfield - NAMPARA - Ultimately, just too big for me at 25's.

2.40 Lingfield - STAR AT MIDNIGHT - Not badly bred at all and whilst one of only 2 newcomers in the field, has definite EW appeal at the current 80's.

4.50 Uttoxeter - DEE STAR - Possible " dark horse " at 100's.

6.30 Killarney - PEREGRINE RUN - Known more as a chaser, but has his ground and the race lacks strength in depth at 10's.

6.45 Fairyhouse - KEN'S SAM'S - Way below last winning mark and whilst 7th, not beaten that far last time and not without a chance at 25's.
 
8.35 Wolverhampton - SUPER KID at 20's

9.05 Wolverhampton - JAVELIN at 10
 
Thursday 19th July

11.35 Vaal - COLONEL CARAMEL - Gelded since last run and a possible improver at 33's.

12.10 Vaal - GOLDEN CHESTNUT - Never looked like getting involved on debut, but had a nice break to get over it. Should appreciate the immediate step up in trip and does represent a top stable at 66's.

12.45 Vaal - DEAGO DELUXE - Seldom far away, but beaten by a few of these on last run. Gets the 9lb claim however, so weighted to turn things round and has proven himself to possess speed. Not the strongest looking maiden ever and shocked to see this one available at 33's.

2.35 Vaal - STREET FLYER - Has been in better form, but remains a useful sort at this level and gets in today off bottom weight, with a useful claimer booked. Really should be in the mix at 10's.
 
3.30 Hamilton - DONNACHIES GIRL - Two of three turf wins have been at this course and better than bare facts suggest on last run. Certainly won't mind the stiff finish at 12's.

4.20 Leicester - BEAUTY CONCEPT - Has improved on all 3 starts to date, but hopefully still has scope for more at 10's

4.55 Killarney - ELUSIVE BELLE - Nicely bred newcomer and the stable does well in this sphere, is in form and can get one ready. Could easily out - run the odds at 16's.

6.20 Doncaster - OH YES PLEASE - Stable has a fair record with its juveniles and they are capable of getting first time out winners. Not badly bred either, so definite interest at 20's.
