Rom V Scot game is turning out to be a close encounter, far to close than the Scots would like.

15 mins left and the Romanians are on top here and only 4 points behind.
 
And as i finish that post the Romanians go over, bit of a wait as it goes to the eye in the sky and.........TRY.

Kick converted and now Scotland have a big ask on their hands.
 
Scots get a lazy pen and now its all square, great last 10 mins now expected.
 
Danoielli goes over with 5 mins left, conversion missed and this game is not over yet, that might just give the Romanians the determination to push on.
 
Danoielli goes over again and relief for the Scots, game over now but i hope its a wake up call for the Scots as this could so easily have turned the other way, Patterson is also struggling with his kicks which is not a good sign.
Still they will go onto win this now and should improve as the tourny goes on, lesson learnt me thinks.
 
PHEW!!!!! I put all the obvious selections into a big greedy accum as the odds for the opening games of the rugby are a joke, and the margin of handicaps they are offering are far too big.

Hope you didn't include England in that accy mate. They are truly fucking shite. Should have been a clue when Wales were outplaying them the other week but now it's official.

England I think are the best of the European mob or there abouts, Ireland have never looked so bad going into a major tournament, I am going to make money opposing them against any half decent opposition! New Zealand nailed on to win it outright.

I think USA have a great chance to keep within the cap

got the USA one and have placed my bet of Wales +13, my first patriotic bet
 
I'm with you Treath (actually, 14 hcap, as Pie Chucker mentioned earlier). I'm no rugby fan but watched the all blacks and watched all of the England game yesterday and surprised myself that I'm enjoying it so much.

Waiting for the Wales game to come on - gonna get a cuppa

handicaps for Wednesday fixtures
Tonga -7 v Canada +7 ...Tonga looked decent against New Zealand , did that match take a lot out of them?
Scotland -21 v Georgia +21 ... a difficult one for the Scots if the last world cup is anything to go by , Scotland should win but if we have rain Georgia could keep it within the cap
Samoa -30 v Namibia+30 ...first match for Samoa with Namibia having played against Fiji , I can see Samoa overcoming the cap but I will keep an eye on the weather

Caps look about right tomorrow. But Samoa, raring to go and with the XV that beat Aus in Sydney might be worth siding with. Weather in Rotorua tomorrow looks alright from here.

Georgia tough, particularly upfront. Could give Scotland a gee-up in the first half. But they'll probably need to go over to bring this home. Seven hours ahead of UK here. Good rugby!
