I'd be folding to shove from BB as well - to much of my stack, like 50%. His stats were 0% 3bet from BB and if anything he was calling open not 3betting vs steal.

but if you induce a shove it's worse then if you shoved yourself as they fold a lot with 20 bb's so you win when they fold and you win when/if you outflopped them. If they shove on you then it's a flip every time and you win only when you have a better hand.

To be honest I'm not really into shoving from the BTN unless it's bubble time or big pay jumps, I prefer small ball playing - that's why you see me calling with KQo instead of 3betting there. I think 3bet is a good option but I've got nearly 50 bb's there and don't need to play big pot with this guy with only KQ and out of position.:unsure

Very good point in that hand, I missed a value bet on the river... however I dunno what you mean in the post above :help
 
Pt.2 3.00 min. Would you really shove 17K with T8s to win 3K? hmm, vs a guy with 53% steal, is it worth it? As I said I prefer small ball

Edit: 3bet/fold maybe but not happy with only 27(?) bb's

Edit2: shove is spewy a bit, kinda handcuffed there

aye i think thats a profital shove spot Kris. I think we get called mmmmmmm i dunno 20%? Its a good merge i'd be doing it with KK and108s. I play a smaller than 20bb stack well though. sorry i mean.... aggressive

sorry im not making much sense here. I was thinkin about about what you raise shove the sb v bb and what you raise induce a shove sb v bb there. A10 seems to be the raise induce cutoff and everything else is just shove.

sorry kris i havent but im intested in where poker is taking you at the mo. I'm a 'poker dreamer' to all my family but they dont understand my lack of bankroll management :(
 
Can do kris. You still up for it? I'll take any hand histories from anyone good or bad. kris probably is in the top 10% id say. Its all about information. Im workig on a quantum style poker book. Random number generators and psi.

Aye go on laugh. Bottom line still is knowing how to play ay hnd optimatly ad leaving the less chips on the table.
