Anybody got any ante post bets yet ?

A couple of years ago i got my fingers burnt so I've not got many on but do have a couple.

Black Op - Stayers
Waiting Patiently - Ryanair
Fakir & Angels Breath - Supreme
Lairina - Mares
Presenting Percy - Gold Cup
Vinndictation - RSA
Master Dino - JLT
Summerville Boy - Champion Hurdle
Never Apart - Triumph
Clondaw Castle - Close Brothers
Delta Work - National Hunt
Spiritofthegames - Plate

Are the ones I can remember.

Fingers crossed it goes ahead.

Just checked my unsettled bets and i have a few that i had forgot about - not big stakes but better in my pocket

Not yet but I'll be setting up a forum for Cheltenham tomorrow night.:thumb

No bets on yet but will definitely be doing PAISLEY PARK, LAURINA, SIR EREC.

Also considering ALTIOR, CHAMP, CLAN DES OBEAUX

So with the exception of CDO, mainly short priced picks. And this will be dependant on the going too.
If it's a mud bath like last year i'll be passing it over and waiting for the Aintree meeting, 3 weeks later.

CLAN DES OBEAUX impressive today and has almost halved in price for the Gold Cup.

CYRNAME was also very impressive in a good day for Nicholls (8 winners from 24 runners). Down to run in the Ryanair, is currently the 4/1 fav and is now very high on my list.

Just had my first bet of the festival and by my standards, quite a big one.

I don't need to tell you how good Harry Cobden has been this season but here is this seasons stats just to back him up...

For almost every 4 rides, he's riding a winner. Obviously, mainly down riding for Nicholls but he's picked up plenty of winners elsewhere too. I've been hugely impressed with him.

In the Top Festival Jockey market, he's about 9th in the betting. Unbelievable. Should be 3rd or 4th imo.

He's no banker but at the same time there's no way he should be a 25/1 shot.
Nicholls is back in form, he'll also have rides for Tizzard and others too.

I reckon he could be close enough going into the Friday, giving an opportunity to cover one, maybe two others on the last day.

No way a 25/1 shot.

Fingers crossed he'll stay injury free.

Anyway, Laddies wouldn't let me have on all i wanted so i had to split the stake with Coral, too.

25/1.

Think Call Me Lord is a class horse, and tends to peak in the spring

Would like to see him run in the County Hurdle, and have played the 33-1 with Sportingbet who are NRNB

Just added a 2nd, much smaller bet on Mark Walsh @ 16/1

Got my horses pretty much picked for Cheltenham, i've not had a punt yet but i can see a dick dance bet for these 7 closer the time...

Duc Des Genievres
Laurina
Benie Des Dieux
Tower Bridge
Paisley Park
Sir Eric
Clan Des Obeaux

Will add Cyrname if entered, but that looks highly unlikely.

Had my first round of Cheltenham bets Wednesday night. Many of them Mcmanus horses with very little reagard for form study but I think he will have a good year this time for some reason.

Will post them up on saturday when i have more time

Ultima-American

Has rarely produced on the track what he has shown Trainer Harry Fry at home.

But has a big day in him, and if he lines up for this handicap then the current 33-1 with Bet 365 will look big

Am on at BOG & NRNB

Ryanair-Un De Sceaux

Now getting a bit of rain think conditions could come good for this Irish Winning Machine

Each Way @ 7-1 [Unibet] NRNB

Stayers-Bacardys

Another Mullins horse who was going well in this race last year when falling at the last

Each Way @ 16-1 [Bet 365] BOG & NRNB

Been declared to run under top weight in the big hurdle at Sandown on Saturday, so small saver at BOG 8-1

Ran a cracker to finish 3rd, wait and see now if he runs again next week

I like your Cobden bets chaps. Im sorted for the first day and, as always I have overinvested so it will be a miracle if I make a profit. I never learn but Im frightened if picking one out and missing a winner.

Rains coming down at Cheltenham, this was yesterdays

Official Going Chase (Old and New) Good to Soft, Soft (in places) Hurdle (Old and New) Good to Soft, Soft (in places) Cross Country: Good to Soft, Soft (in places).
I imagine its going to be Soft come this afternoon.

Be trying to land the placepot today as always,Scoop 6 possibly too,but little to no chance of landing that , but might get myself some place money for my 2 quid.

Here are the ones to avoid. As I said, I'm aware that I've backed too many so only a miracle can save me.

130
Fakir DOUdanes, and Beware the Bear ew 20/1 with a small ew bet on Bryony Frost's Brandon Castle ew at 50/1. I love Bryony as a rider. Here's tip for you all, follow her and the Bowen brothers every weekend over the jumps season and you will end up in profit.

210
I was going to back Hardline whatever race it rocked up to so I'm on ew at 12/1 ew and, realistically, I need this one to win to stand any chance of going into day 2 ahead.
I also had an antepost bet on Kalashnikov ew at 10/1 which I added to yesterday at 8/1

250
I have Calipto in my tracker so I'm on that ew at 16/1. Also Beware the Bear ew 20/1 and Give me a Copper which I backed antepost at 7/1 ew 4 places which is now backable at 9/1 with 6 places so, yeah, good bit of business there then:lookaround

330 Should be an absolute cracking race with any of the front three in the market could win it. I can't really split the three but am putting my free bet on Laurina. My cash bet will be an ew bet on Espoir DAllen which, to be honest, I think is a very good ew bet and I won't be the slightest be surprised if it had enough improvement in it to actually win today. In fact, sod it, I'm going to double my bet and back it for 4 places.

410 Roksana ew 9/1 3 places. Emilay 20/1 (now out to 25)

450 Tower Bridge Huntsman's Son and Movewiththetimes

530 OK Coral and Jerrysback ew 12/1 4 places

To be honest, this is the least excited I've been about Cheltenham for a long time. Maybe that will change when the roar kicks in.
