Crypto currencies

All seems to be settling down again now:crossfingers

BTC bouncing between $16.5k - $17.5k, I'm now looking to do a few buy and sells while it's going up and down and hope it keeps an eventual upward trajectory after a buy in.

Also I thought I'd dropped a big bollock the other week because I sold my OMG and Link and thereafter it increased in price but the drop has took both coins to below my sell price which I suppose leaves me with a feeling of wellbeing, I was going to say profit but the Link left me with a loss.

Like I say, with crypto you never lose the lot so always come back to fight another day.

Every loss and gain is a learning experience and I'm glad to say my choices (touch wood) are getting better.

Bitcoin nearly hitting all time high today, just short of $20k.
still sitting mid $19.5k so wouldn't be at all surprised to see it start rocketing as soon as it surpasses it, if not then I wouldn't be surprised to see a large sudden dip, which should be a good time to buy in.

Well it did drop and it was it a good time to buy in.
It's levelling off now after riding a wave for a few days and I've been doing some trading between the peaks and troughs .

I've been doing that by trading alts aka Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin cash (BCH} as usual but in hindsight I should have probably stuck to Bitcoin (BTC), which I may do from now on.

At the moment BCH has hit a wall and imo under-priced at the moment Currently trading @ £216 . I've ended up with 4 of them which I value at around £230 considering the current Bitcoin price, it would have certainly got that a couple of days ago but has come to a halt over the last 24hrs, it's not the first time it's done this and it usually ends up shooting up after I've sold so I've took them off the market this time and will hold for a few days.

Overall it looks good for Bitcoin because it's been holding at it's near all time high for a few days now.
I know we've been here before and the arse has fell out but I've a good feeling this time around mainly due to more financial company's looking to buy Bitcoin.

If it can get above £20,000 dollars and hold then I think we'll be looking at a new phase for Bitcoin with a ceiling price of God knows how high until the next hurdle.

I consider buying some DOT and adding more ADA and maybe tomorrow I will buy some more alts.... good days ahead of us gentlemen !

Hopefully Rad.

Bitcoin has just this minute gone over $19.5k dollars, this is worth watching because if it holds then this could be the next phase or it's gonna drop with a bump which is usually a good time to trade.

I should say it will drop with a bump if it can get near $20k dollars and falls.
At the moment it's still bobbing and weaving just above $19.5k

Now we're just back under $19.5k, this fights gonna play out for a while until it breaks one way or the other.
I'd say this is one of the most critical points for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin couldn't quite make it above $19.5k and hold, it's now hovering around the $19k mark.

I was right with BCH, it came back to around £230 and I should have sold but hung on for a bit more being the greedy bugger I am.
It then dropped when BTC went under $19k, compared to it's price last night it's showing more value and should get to a decent selling price when Bitcoin makes a move towards $19.5k again.

I'll also be back in to buy ETH should it drop to £430 or below, sold my last one at £460 and I imagine it will reach around that figure again when like above Bitcoin reaches $19.5k.

I know I'm using dollars when referencing Bitcoin, I do that because it's against the dollar where the markets at, when bitcoin hits a wall it'll be a whole rounded figure like $16k, $16.5k, $17k, $17.5k, $18k etc etc

99.9% of crypto coins will move with Bitcoin most of the time, so even if I'm buying ETH @ £ sterling I'll be using Bitcoin and the dollar as a reference to look at any movement and spot the best time to buy or sell.

That's for day trading by the way.
If you have patience and want to do long term trading then I suggest using the 6 hour ema's which I've explained previously in this thread.

ETH just dropped under £430 but I've removed my buy in because Bitcoin not near $18.5k yet.
Reduced it to £420 in the hope Bitcoin will drop further but I'll be surprised it it does.

Now need Bitcoin to hit $18.5k and bounce back up :crossfingers

At the moment ETH £420 and BCH £205.
Time to buy in imo, lets see what happens.

Here's the bounce back with hopefully more to come.
Currently ETH £430 and BCH £211

Price coming down again, I should have heeded my own 6hr ema advice.
Just checked it and the lines are very close.:frown
