I've posted the Oddschecker odds which will give the best odds available but the prices given by the ones offering NRNB (No runner, no bet) will always be lower than the bigger prices shown.

For comparison, I've posted some bet365 odds because they are always the first to go NRNB all races and also because they are offering Best Odds Guaranteed and also because they are the best bookies around by a country mile.

Just a warning if anyone is reading this who's not a regular horse backer, if you back with a bookie who isn't offering NRNB and you're horse doesn't run OR RUNS IN A DIFFERENT RACE (some with be entered in up to three or four races) you've blown your dough.

Early days but I've got a few thoughts early on. Most of which will be at the front end of the market with a view to putting in a few bigger priced ones nearer to the day with an eye on the bookie offers and additional places.

Supreme Novice. On Melon at 4/1 and I've got Charli Marks and Bunk off early are on my list to back whichever races they end up running in Festival week.

The Arkle. I've laid Altior at around 1/2 for small stakes not because I think it's exactly a value play but because anything can happen in the race, let aloe in the three and a half weeks leading up to the race. On the day I'll be betting without the fav.

Ultima Handicap. I'm on Mall Dini each way at 16/1

Champion Hurdle I'm on Yanworth each way

Mares Hurdle, I've laid Vroom Vroom Mag at around 3/1 for small stakes

NH Chase Champers on Ice and Arpege D'alene

Nothing in the last so far

You not worried about Yarnworth's performance yesterday?

No, nor me. I got the feeling the first time cheekpieces were of more annoyance than help to him. Cant see them being back on for Cheltenham.
