English Football Betting 1st-2nd Jan

Don't normally like anything odds on away but I do fancy goals at St Marys, & I fancy Arsenal to outscore S'oton. Taken 1-3, 2-3 & any unquoted

Back tp old arsenal trying to walk ball in the net

All the stats point to Everton scoring a header against Newcastle tonight...

Everton have scored 9 headers this season, only Man Utd have scored more
Newcastle have conceded more headers (11) than any other Prem side this season

Fellani is the obvious one, but who else is good in the air for Everton? Jelavic, Pienaar, Jagielka?

I've backed Everton at 7/5, 6/5 and now 11/10. With Ba not playing that is a massive blow also add Fellaini back from suspension.

I've also done Jelavic to score first at 9/2

pre-Ba news

Got to say Newcastle look a huge price now at 3.9, okay they're on a bad run and are desperately missing Cabaye and ben Arfa, but Everton have only won 1 of their last 8 away games and have conceded in all of their last 15 games, I think it could go either way with a home win the value.

Whenever stats scream something in football, the opposite always seems to happen (at least when I follow the stats, anyway), so cue a 0-0 :p

Newcastle: Krul; Perch, Williamson, Coloccini (c), Santon; Tiote, Anita; Cisse, Marveaux, Obertan; Shola Ameobi. Subs: Elliot, Ferguson, Tavernier, Abeid, Bigirimana, Sammy Ameobi, Ranger.
Everton: Howard, Baines, Heitinga, Distin, Jagielka, Pienaar, Osman, Neville, Fellaini, Naismith, Jelavic. Subs: Mucha, Oviedo, Hitzlsperger, Anichebe, Gueye, Vellios, Duffy.

Going for Fellani, Santon and Jagielka to score first, and the latter pair to score any time. Santon is really interesting, he's yet to score for the Mags but has a great strike on him for a defender and has forced some good saves from opposing keepers a few times this season, I'm sure he's going to get a goal before the season is out and am backing him 1st & anytime until the end of the season. Got matched at 30.0 at BF any time.

Took a trio of 2-2's at small stakes. QPR obviously being the flaw in this masterplan

Everton have been appalling the first half, not even looked like scoring, let alone with a header. No surprise there, then :adolph

That's one way of getting a team to score :)

And the stats fail pathetically again :frown I don't think Everton won a single header in the Newcastle box all night. I was a bit unlucky with the Santon to score bet, he had a great chance on 84 mins when put clean through with just the keeper to beat but he hit the keeper's legs. No doubt he'll notch as soon as I forget to back him.

Newcastle could have had a hat full but it just wasn't their night, Everton were just content to hit them on the counter and it worked, both teams will have took a lot from that game as a draw would have probably be a fair result.

Not trying to sound racist here but there was a time near the end of the game as I was switching between that and the Chelsea match that I had to count the colour of the Newcastle team from front to back as i thought they had a full team of black players on the field which I had never seen before until the camera panned on the Newcastle defence.
