Super Sunday kicks off in a big way with the massive Merseyside Derby. These sides have met 224 times since 1894 incredibly, with the last 2 results ending in a draw, which does reflect the current odds.
Liverpool are marginal favourites and will be pleased to have long-lost Daniel Sturridge available again following a year’s absence due to injury. His 2 goal haul this weekend will give the Reds greater confidence in front of goal with Sturridge overtaking Torres and Suarez as Liverpool’s most prolific goal scorer in the Premier League era with a 0.65 goals per game ratio.

Everton did well to earn 3 points away at West Brom on Monday night and put 3 goals past a side who rarely concede at all.
They’ve done very well in the last month and do have the superior goals for and goals against record so far when compared to their rivals, with a 3-1 win over Chelsea a key highlight. They’ll go into this match as favourites in some respect and could look to cause further distress to an anxious Brendan Rodgers who will be desperate to avoid another defeat. If we can guarantee one thing, it’s that it’ll be a full-blooded affair, with the fixture producing an incredible 20 red cards since the Premier League began; the highest of any fixture. Over 2.5 goals is a tempting 1/1 (2.00) with bet365.

13:30 Everton v Liverpool 2.5 3.25 2.80

Odds Bet365

Tough game to call. I'm very tempted by Everton because they usually do well against the bigger teams at Goodison but Liverpool always seem to get something off them, the draw could be the way to go here imo.

Following on from the Merseyside Derby, there is a huge fixture between current title-contenders Arsenal and Man Utd.
The sides have met 221 times, with some memorable results over the years, including a phenomenal 8-2 United win back in 2011. Rooney has bagged the most goals in this fixture over these years, and would be a good option to score first here.

Arsenal are favourites for the tie and will be very pleased with Alexis Sanchez’s return to goal scoring ways following a brilliant hat-trick at the weekend, and he could well strike again now the flood gates have opened. United also secured a strong win at the weekend and currently top the Premier League table with the league’s joint-top defensive record, so it will be a true test for both sides who will look to continue recent form. Over 3.5 goals looks attractive at 2/1 (3.00) despite United’s defensive record.

16:00 Arsenal v Manchester United EVS 12/5 11/4

Odds Bet365

Not so sure about the Rooney bollocks but at those odds a little tinkle on United is a must, Arsenal as usual are hit and miss but United usually turn up against them and by hook or by crook normally come away with the points.

I'm edging towards Man Ure as well slick simply because Arsenal are so inconsistent.

I'm waiting on Luton to beat Hartlepool on sat for a decent lift. Threw them in a treble with Citeh and Man Ure last night. I backed Luton to win the league and also to be promoted but they didn't start too well and I'm putting that down to time for new players to gel etc. They've only lost once in their last 6 games i think so hopefully they will have too much for the 'monkey hangers'

Good shout on both Kegman, Ive also backed Luton to win league 2, in a double with AFC Fylde to win the Conference North. Theyve won theyre last 4 in league, and on current form should have way too much for the monkey hangers, the only slight doubt I have is the fact that Luton were away at Morecambe midweek, and the travelling involved, whereas the Monkey Hangers were at home midweek, and are at the weekend.

Utd at 3.75 is a cracking price, theyve a good record against the Arse and how they played in midweek against the Greeks, I would have thought a few will be taking Utd at that price.

I think Everton will win, i'll even call 2-1.

I've had it in my head for 6 weeks or more now that this will be the last game in charge for Brendan Rodgers, well, if he got this far. Booed off the pitch tonight and Everton fancy their chances, according to Jamie Carragher.

I cant understand the Arsenal v Man Utd odds. Even money Arsenal?? I'd of had them both matched up with the same odds. I'm sitting on the fence and calling the draw.

Good luck with Luton fellas, i'm also on them outright @ 10/1 and also 5/4 for a top 7 finish.

I want you lads to win on Sunday, to keep Brentan in the job.

If he wins the derby, how many weeks grace does that give him - at least till xmas gotta be please.

I'm on Luton too, 3/1 for promotion following Punter's tip

I'm struggling to find anything to appeal out of the league. Fylde should do Telford but the short odds don't tempt. I was going to take Cheltenham at Halifax, but their odds have shortened during the last couple of days to less than I'm happy with. I have taken over 2.5 in the Torquay/Aldershot game though at Bet365's 4/5. Both sides are porous, and Aldershot at least have a few goals in us. My price is around the 4/6 that some other bookies offer.

lol, yeah probably Xmas. There's no strong replacement for him out there at present. I'm not sure Klopp would be suitable?

Good luck with the overs TC, and more importantly as 'Shots win. Torquay have been dire of late.

I think Klopp would be ideally suited to Liverpool Punt, and in the future when he re-takes the most Prem titles you can call the other end of the stadium the 'Klopp end'
Seriously, getting somebody in who knows European football and it's decent footballers well is exactly what you need right now.

But would Klopp go there, its a big job sorting the mess Brentan has overseen

I don't think so. it just needs somebody in there who know's what they're doing.
With Klopp comes respect from the players, whilst Brenda is just a great manager in his own head, behind his back I bet the players think he's a right cock.

Odds against on Gillingham seems pretty generous. We've won 5 out of 5 at home this season, read somewhere yesterday that going back into last season we've now won 8 in a row at home, a win today would be a club record. Destroyed Fleetwood in the week 5-1, despite apparently not really playing all that well.

We've also been going well without our strikers really clicking. Up until Tuesday we'd scored 14 goals, and only 3 of them from strikers (well, one striker alone, to be precise, Luke Norris). Last season's top scorer Cody McDonald got injured pre-season and has been struggling to get back to full fitness, but came on for the last 5 minutes against Fleetwood, scored 1 and apparently could've had another, and Rory Donnelly got off the mark for us with his first two goals, the second an absolute beauty -
.
If the strikers start clicking, we're going to be really dangerous.

Oldham have drawn all 5 of their aways this season, including against Walsall and Bury, which is a bit of a concern, but Walsall and Bury, although going well, are actually performing better away than at home at the moment. Can't be often you get odds against for a team in 3rd against a team in 18th, with the team in 3rd having won 8 in a row at home, surely?

Same as in midweek, I also reckon Burton and Colchester are overpriced at home too.

I have Gillingham down for BTTS along with Leeds and Arsenal , been pretty successful with the BTTS this season , so today's will fall by the wayside .
Stevenage should take advantage of Carlisle's striker crisis.

Sunderland seem to be well tipped at home to the Hammers , i was under the impression that the Hammers were pretty decent away , Sunderland are terrible home and away , i would certainly favour a away win.
I can see Bournemouth being frustrated by Watford and its got draw written all over it.

Tonight (Tuesday) sees a full fixture list in the National - apart from Aldershot v Forest Green which is on the box on Wednesday and I'm sure is a must-view for everyone. :wink

I can't see why Grimsby are as low as 4/9 to beat Gateshead. Grimsby are slowly climbing the table without yet showing their full potential, while Gateshead are in the play-off places and above their hosts. A Grimsby win is possibly the most likely outcome, but I think there is value in Bet365's 9/5 for Gateshead double chance - I'd have it at much nearer evens.

Good luck TC.

I called in a Laddies shop on the way home because i knew there were Conference games, couldn't remember who was playing who but i wanted a bet for tonight.
Before i mention my bets i've got to say that there is no value in Ladbrokes shops whatsoever, real shite odds on everything that i thought was a possible bet. Outright, Overs/Unders, BTTS, Match result and BTTS. Piss taking odds.

But i wanted a bet all the same and decided to hit them with an odds against trixie. Small bet..

I was originally thinking of a tenner on Tranmere @ 21/10 and that's me lot, but decided to break it up with a trixie, adding Torquay @ 13/5 and Kiddie @ 7/5. Two struggling teams i know but i'm chancing them, on the small minded basis that both are at home.
I'd back any other team against Torquay right now but the fact that it's a south coast rival this time, makes me suspicious.
Kiddie might just get their 1st League win of the season tonight (15th attempt), against a nothing special Boreham Wood.

I actually fancied Grimsby -1 tonight, TC. A poor price stopped me from taking it though, so i hope i was wrong and your bet comes in.

Good luck on the box tomorrow night, i might wrestle the mrs for the remote control and watch it.
