I never thought I'd live to see the day United were that price at home against little shitty Citeh lol.
I fancy us to do it but am not going to tempt fate by putting money on it.
Not a bad price for West Ham either, it's the sort of match they'll be looking to win otherwise they'll start to find themselves back in the relegation mix after just climbing out of it.

I've backed Man U draw no bet. This is just the kind of game that they could fuck up in.

Fingers crossed they don't

That horrible feeling of knowing i should be shouting on Utd :puke

"20 times 20 times Man Uni...." Nah cant do it.

"CITEH CITEH CITEH!!"

Draw or City win for me, City win more so. I cant see Utd winning this but i understand the reasoning of your bet with your ante post interest.

At last a home game for Liverpool! And Rodgers has called on the supporters...

You have fear for Sunderland here dont you? A thrashing? Last time i predicted Liverpool would thrash somebody they lost 1-0 at Wigan, so i've probably just blown any chance of us winning the title here and Sunderland will nick a 0-1 victory. But i've taken us to win via some big correct scores anyway.

It'll be me own fault. Nobody to blame but me.

:roll Football can make such cunts of us at times.

Can't say i've ever been that mistaken though.

Well, not since I predicted Derby Forest nil nil anyway:leaving

Not bad. I had to keep looking up at the scoreboard to check I wasn't imagining it.:lol

Thats why I don't like predictiing City results Punt, Yorkies comp is the worst because every time I used to put us down to win in there we fcuked up, I never tip us now in that comp.
I must admit though that the more I watch Uniteds midfield and their defence; I keep thinking I hope they line up like that against us because because we should be able to shred it to bits.
I have a feeling United will pack the midfield out tomorrow and play one up top trying to do City on the counter, if they don't and let City dominate the midfield it could be over by half time.

Aye good win at the weekend ODM, didn't somebody mention a boring 0-0.

This an opportune time to say this then:

I for one don't think that predicting a game will be 0-0 and its 5-0 makes you a cunt or even look a cunt etc etc nor does predicting Liverpool will thrash someone and they lose 1-0 make you look stupid.

HOWEVER,and I hope I will be forgiven for saying this-it needs to be said I think because its true and important-

believing/mentioning that it makes you (look) a cunt is what makes you look,er,not very smart(that's the closest I get to an insult-what can I say)

It's really hard to envisage anything other than an easy win for Liverpool to be honest - I just don't see how Sunderland's calamitous defenders are going to cope with Suarez and Sturridge, Liverpool are averaging 4 goals per game while Sunderland are averaging 0.25 goals per game :giveup

I think Liverpool have been awarded 7 penalties in their last 10 league games, you would think they'll get at least one tomorrow night. Question is, which is the better bet - a) penalty taken @ 12/5 (WillHill) or b) Gerrard to score anytime @ 2/1 (Betfair, possibly bigger tomorrow)? The former choice covers a penalty miss and the remote chance Sunderland get one, while the latter covers Gerrard scoring a free-kick or from open play. Opinions please.

I'm tempted to opt for the former, and then back Gerrard to score 2 or more @ 9/1 (Coral) and sod it, to score a hat-trick @ 33/1 too.

Also fancy doing some big scores by half-time - I mentioned on here a while back what a superb goalscoring record Liverpool have in the first half of games, by far the best in the league, I'm going to do 3-0 @ 11/1, 3-1 @ 33/1, 4-0 @ 40/1 and 4-1 @ 100/1.

Just to add, Sunderland's chances of scoring are severely dampened by the fact that Borini isn't allowed to play (on loan from Liverpool) and Stephen Fletcher is injured, leaving 20-year-old Connor Whickham to start up front (failed to score in 5 games in the Championship for Leeds on loan, and has so far not looked up to Premier League class) with American spastic Jozy Altidore (who is surely one of the worst strikers to play in the English top flight EVER) and £3m January signing Ignacio Scocco (who has so far looked far from ready to adapt to the English game) the options from the bench. If Sunderland do score it'll surely be from a set piece.

Good thinking with the half time scores Seen, i never thought of hitting that market and as you've pointed out before, we've been much higher scoring in the first half.

My opinion would be wait and see if Gerrard plays. I read or heard somewhere that he's only one card away from a two game ban? I'm unsure of the ruling but i think he's not to receive one for a game or two, or he's banned? I'm not sure of the games he would be banned for either but with Spurs and Man City coming up, they may leave him out for this one?

I hope Sunderland stay up btw, good luck with that :thumb

He's odds on to be out for the City or Chelsea game Kop but I'm not sure he will be that big a miss to be honest. If he manages to avoid a yellow in the next three games then he's bound to get a yellow in the City game which will means he would miss the Norwich and Chelsea games. The only way he'll avoid missing one of those games is by getting a yellow tonight (which I think will mysteriously happen) and that would mean he'd miss the spurs and west ham games.

If, by some miracle, he avoids a yellow up to and including the city game, he's clear to play for the rest of the season.

Cheers ODM, i knew it was something like that.

A poor call from me with the thrashing but i saw the danger with the two subs from Sunderland and chucked a fiver on laying 'pool at 1.01 three minutes before they pulled one back. I wanted the 3 points far more but was on for 500 sheets if we didnt. A tense last 10 minutes eh :cold
