English Premier League betting 25-26th March

Well I got it wrong as well, and also chose a) (a loser) instead of b) (a winner).

Thought Liverpool were poor last night, at the end of the day they've only scraped past a very poor team via an unstoppable free-kick and a deflection. Disappointed with their strikers, they were ridiculously ball greedy and seemed like they didn't want the other to score. Sunderland contained them quite well until the goal but had no threat going forward at all until Ki and Johnston came on, then did really well. Problem for us is that our record v bottom half teams is appalling and will no doubt fail to beat West Ham at home on Monday.

Sunderland are actually 7th in the table v top half teams, but have by far and away the worst record v bottom half teams - and it's the latter record which will see us relegated.

1 win in 14 and just 7 goals scored (4 of them came in one game v Fulham) - pathetic. We've scored a grand total of ZERO goals in 5 home games v bottom half teams :embarassed

lol, a rag said to me yesterday that he would be satisfied if United won the 'away' league this year, how fcuking desperate is that!

Sunderland were unlucky at the end Seen but overall they didn't do enough to win it, Liverpool should have been out of sight in the first half or at least built on what they had in the second, they looked a bit jittery to me; are nerves starting to kick in I wonder.

That's just what I thought. It's all very well launching attack after attack at home against a team who are sitting there waiting to be attacked but as soon as the going got tough, the tough shat their fucking pants.

I still don't see Liverpool winning it. No way. I couldn't see them beating Chelsea and City before last night and that performance has shown me that they could slip up against even lesser sides than them. Their defence has been dodgy all season and if teams decide to take advantage of that instead of sitting around playing for a point the way that Sunderland did before they conceded, they're fucked.

Of course, I've been wrong before.

Spurs could well be worth a punt this weekend v Liverpool at decent odds. only saw 2nd half of Sunderland game and last 15 mins they were out played.

If Adebayor turns up he's a handful for any team. Paulinho and Soldado haven't shown anything like what they can do and I'm sure they will be looking for a decent performance to try and cover up the 5-0 drubbing Liverpool gave then at whl

The problem for Spurs is that they're flat-track bullies - they have an excellent record v teams below them (16-3-3) but a dreadful one against the top 4 (0-1-6), scoring just 2 goals and conceding 23 :eek might be worth betting on plenty of goals - both defences look far from solid.

I wouldn't read too much in to the last 15 mins v Sunderland - Sunderland were the better team in the cup final v Man City until YaYa's wonder goal but that hasn't stopped City winning their last 3 league games.
