Well Rodgers rested quite a few against Real Madrid , still cant see them getting three points off Chelsea , if i was betting on this match i would probably be going for the draw.
Just looking at some stats , Chelsea unbeaten in their last thirteen premiership games , Liverpool with just the two wins out of the last seven league matches , its not looking good for the scousers.

7/1 on QPR :naughty , City are not performing at all this season , they looked inept in Europe ( again ) and last week against Utd was a struggle even after Utd went down to 10 men City still looked uncomfortable especially the last 15 minutes , they seemed a bit fortunate to get the 3 points.
QPR looked pretty decent against Chelsea and Ferdinand is still out , so that's a plus point.

I'd take a Liverpool draw, think Chelsea will just edge it though. No bet for me, with both teams coming back from CL away games.

Nothing jumping out at me this week in the 1X2 market, i considered a north east, DNB double, Sunderland 9/5 Newcastle 11/8 but in the end i'm just going to have bet at Corals 4/1 about Downing anytime scorer v Villa.

Villa looked ok in spells v spurs and although west ham are going well I still think they are punching above their weight and might throw interest stakes on villa at 4/1

Although Sunderland won against Palace on Monday night they were still piss poir. They shit themselves everytime they have to defend and Everton are ticking along nicely and had a good win last night. Evens looks a tad skinny but must merit a second look.

Hate to say it due to a real dislike of Fat Sam , but West Ham are playing some decent football , i can see them beating Villa with ease.

I'll take a Cheslea win, Liverpool may have rested players but how shite have they been all season.
I don't recall a convincing Liverpool performance since the season started and from a City point of view I hope it starts Saturday but I just can't see it, The only thing putting me off betting money on Chelsea is Mourinhio's attitude of being happy with just a point away from home against the top teams.

As for QPR beating City Win's, nothing would surprise me any more with City but I'd want bigger odds than those on offer, If you are going down that road the better bet may be laying City.

Its a pretty tough set of fixtures once more, not one of them looks nailed on, it say's something when the most sure fire bet looks like a Southampton home win.
The other very short odds favourites are City and United and who would fancy risking money on them?

I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few draws mind, The Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom and Swansea games looks very close affairs and I'll hazard a guess if they're not draws then only a goal either way will separate them.

Of the rest Spurs should win but usually don't, and West Ham are not known for putting together a long run of form; plus I don't recall ever putting money on one of Fat Sams sides even though at the moment they do seem to be playing well enough to maybe have a wee tinker on them.

Has ur mrs sold the bed slick? What on earth u doing up at this time of night?

west ham are absolute bankers, theyve had best start to a season for years and got sakho back, villa are awful, and benteke misses out as a result of that sending off last week. Agree with ur potential draw selections, those games are a nightmare to predict, especially after midwek euro games.

As much as i hate to say it, fancy the red scousers to get a draw on saturday, mourinho is usually happy to take a point from a tough on paper away game, saying that rodgers would be better picking the team he picked at madrid, if he wants to get anything from the game - lets hope slippy plays and gifts chelsea a winner.

Even with utds unreal defensive mess at the moment, they should win, looked good at city last week especially first and last 20 minutes, palace had a lot of the ball against sunderland but created nothing really, zaha cant play and captain is suspended.

Qpr to get a draw against city - not backing it but wouldnt suprise me at all if it happens.

Cheeky cnut!!
Just a pity I agree with you lol.

I've had my kip but got on early because she said some inlaws were coming down to visit with a million kids, so far nobody has turned up:crossfingers

lucky you, pray they they found a fireworks display instead.

southampton and spurs should both win for obvious reasons ( both at home), but something tells me that 1 of them is going to come unstuck, only gut instinct mind , no stats to back it up.

Villa played ok when Benteke was on the pitch - after that .... they struggled a bit. Last season I mentioned how important Vlaar was to us but recently his form has been poor so without Benteke Villa have no leader. I hope I am wrong but I would steer clear of Villa for the next three games

.

My head says you're probably right mate. Chelsea are not playing well despite being clear at the top and Liverpool have something to prove after Brendan's surrender on Wednesday. Hopefully (I say hopefully as not only have I laid Chelsea to win the title, I've also been backing Liverpool to finish above United which could go either way at the moment) the squad has had a bit of a rocket after the midweek and the pressure of the fans will be on them. Not always a good thing I know but it's not like the crowd will expect them to be three up after 10 minutes, just keeping Chelsea out will get the crowd behind them. I see a good chance of it being level at half time. What happens after that is anybody's guess.
