It's not so bad, you can only use one chip at a time on any given week so use the Triple Captain and Bench Boosts in the big double game weeks. You will get another wildcard on Jan 1st. I tend to save it and use it the week before one of those double game weeks so I can be primed with all the best players playing twice when I bench boost. There are other good strategys though.

They don't change it during the season, although they do change players classifications when the game shuts down over the summer. Diego Jota was a midfielder last season for example. Lundstrum at Sheffield Utd is hilariously out of position this year (and cheap af also).

Just saw this shit sorry Punter you are right, Slick you played your free hit :lol, you wont get another one of them.

You do still have your wildcard, use it before the end of the year as you get another one then and this one will just evaporate if unused.

Blocked from getting his points by an Andy Carroll cameo as well, ouch. I also have missed a lot of David Silva's hauls as I am worried he will be rotated or used sparingly as it's his last season at City (at least I think it is?). I keep remembering Yaya's final season a couple of years ago and how sparingly he was used by Pep during it but despite everyone's doubts David keeps crushing. Instead I kept Aguero who crashed his car this week and sat on the bench all game!
 
I had Aguero too jezza and he's my captain:frown
D silva will be rested no doubt but Pep seems to be doing it in the CL and cup games, be interesting to see what happens once we reach the knock outs.

Most of my team will be missing this week due to the league cup final, don't suppose there's anything in place for such scenarios?

You won't get points for players who don't play this week due to cup matches. The premier league will reschedule the games to fit in another GW later on, when these players will have the chance of playing twice in one fpl gw. They will score points potentially for both games in the double gw's. Good times to play your triple captain/bench boost chips.
