Euro 2016 Group Matches 10th - 22nd June 2016

Why Vardy wasn't brought on is beyond me. Game was crying out for him.

Hope Woy is happy with the dwaw.

This. Three major fuck ups

1. Not bringing Vardy on when we needed a goal
2. Taking Rooney off
3. Not taking Sterling off and replacing him with......well, with any fucker. Absolutely any fucker.

Slick, how you watch that useless mincing fucking waste of a shirt every week without bursting a blood vessel fucking baffles me. I've actually been watchinig the useless cunt on my telly every week and thinking "Why the fuck are these commentators telling me that he's having a good season when my eyes are telling me that he's not actually doing anything that Steven fucking Hawkin couldn't do?

44 fucking million pounds? FFS he's probably the only cunt in the world who could make what Liverpool paid for Andy Carol look like a bargain!

Useless, useless, overated fucking twat.

3. Not taking Sterling off and replacing him with......well, with any fucker. Absolutely any fucker.

He did take him off in the end, but he should've done it sooner. So many times he got into good positions, and so many times the end product was terrible. Doesn't have a clue what to do with the ball, always seems to either choose the wrong pass, or not bother with the pass and just run straight into the defender.

And yet, according to the Guardian's report - "Raheem Sterling’s improved form must be encouraging even if he did fade in the second half" :thinking

I think they probably meant "had a good first 15 minutes before realising that he really isn't very good and reverting to his normal game"

God knows what they'll do with him next season. One thing's for sure, no fucker is going to pay what they paid to take him off their hands. You can laugh at Liverpool for fucking up with the Andy Caroll buy but they've certainly dicked City with this fucking lemon.

England's defence being dodgy and the attack okay I can't see it goalless so I've had a token 1-1 correct score punt at the general 6/1.

Rarely has a late equaliser against England been celebrated with such joy in the ThunderCelt household.

For this afternoon, I'm not as convinced as the bookies that Croatia should be such heavy favourites against Turkey so I've taken Turkey/draw at Corals 20/23. If it looks as if I'm wrong if there's no early goal I can always lump on the Croats.

I was obviously wrong about Croatia who looked a class better. I was going to leave it till half time to hedge for a profit, when they scored. :duh

Backing Lewendowski to score for Poland v N Ireland at Paddy's 11/10. Poland look better on paper but I expect NI to have the spirit and as Poland can be dodgy at the back (apparently) they might have to score more than one to win.

N Ireland should be very hard to break down - I expect Poland to have a shit load of possession but might find it very frustrating for long periods.

N Ireland will be looking to nick a goal from a set piece, so I'm backing defenders Craig Cathcart and Paddy McNair to score first and anytime as they are both capable of scoring headers from corners/free-kicks.

Cathcart - 75.0 first, 29.0 anytime
McNair - 80.0 first, 32.0 anytime

:crossfingers

Fucking hell, Northern Ireland are shocking :p

I've taken Austria in the afternoon game. They had an excellent qualifying while Hungary were modest, and the squad list looks better on paper. I've never heard of the club Hungary's main 'keeper plays for! General 3/4

I think Portugal may be taking this game a bit too lightly. I've just heard the BBC commentator say as he was reading the teamsheet "Ricardo (missed second name) who's injured nanny partners Ronaldo upfront".:unsure

Had a treble yesterday of Italy, Croatia and Spain so Croatia fucked it up. Did look at cashing it out but as they were 2-0 up and coasting didn't bother as ladbrokes offers are shit. They take of Modric and then with 5 mins to go a small section of their fans go into meltdown and end up fucking blowing it. I did cover the draw and a small saver on czechs at 100/1 just in case so i ended up getting most of my stake back but they are still wankers in my eyes.

Uefa will need to do the same as they did to Russia and give them a suspended sentence but did anybody see the steward trying to pick up one of the bangers as it just went off ? Good viewing but could have been a lot more serious.

Well done to Wales winning group B, I would have preferred us to win it just for the Saturday night Kick off more than anything else and a good piss up.
It's shite watching big games on a Monday.

Did anyone back Wales to beat Russia?

No but I mentioned in my prediction thread that was a good price for Wales because I thought they should have been favs.
Suppose I should have mentioned it on this thread lol.
