I put even more on France (lol), some was EW before at 12s with skybet. Put also france top 4 and france w/out sweden. Topped up on San Marino last on the exchanges and did also do Iceland last (thanks Beanie) as well as some on the italy top 10 lithuania top 15 (thanks again beanie).

Thanks guys for all your work. Went with Finland earlier in the week at 22's. Now 12's, but after reading these pages, not so confident now. Followed you both on San Marino to come last, but that is now down to 18's. Also on Iceland ( last ) and Lithuania in the win market at 6's and 25's respectively.

Well, that was chaotic

Nice catch on last place market again! 3 in a row next year?

Lithuania 16th a sore one for the top 15 bet, but Italy nabbed the top 10 and various other bets went well.

Damp squib was France and Switzerland doing as badly as they did in the public vote which was a little surprising - got that very wrong!

As for the winner, when i first heard Austria I was blown away and had it as most likely winner, and then slowly gravitated away from it over the last week to the point i considered opposing it for top 3. Too long in the Eurovision bubble perhaps...

Incred scenes again on the last place bet. I mean I had some on it already from it being an arb but you mentioning it also Beanie meant I put some more on on the exchanges. Well done. SKYBET will have taken a pummeling on that one.

Did shite on everything else, never got the winner as per usual - in fact France were absolutely nowhere but it didn't matter. 40/1 winners eclipse everything else.

Enjoyed the show and got smashed and won some money - good times all round. Hope you two both came out ahead overall thanks to San Marino also.

Was glad to see you both on here and hope we have the same thread next year. Eurovision gambling has always been huge fun for me thanks to this forum and the ones before for well over 20 years now. Raised a glass to Komp and MickeyPaul last night

It's always been the betting highlight of the year for me (I dont really punt on much else these days) even in the years which go badly. Brings back memories of the mid-late 2000s on the forum with all the old crew, the excitement building towards that first jury reveal (often followed by crushing disappointment!)

I occasionally worry that with so many stats available that the contest will become too predictable for the betting markets to be interesting - then we get contests like this year - some of the semi final results in particular are absolutely bonkers - Sweden only 4th in semi-final one, Latvia 2nd in semi final 2! Estonia top 10 with juries...Malta doing far better with juries than televoters. Embrace the madness.

I'll be here for Eurovision night as long as the forum is (and provided im not 6 feet under). All part of the Eurovision routine. Might try and do a few of the national selections next year too.
