12.20 Turffontein - ATOMIC BELLE - Looking to oppose the unraced odds on shot and AB showed some improvement latest and is back over the mile today. Solid looking EW at 12's in this 8 runner event.

Atomic Belle backed into 10's and came through to win easily. Going with these for the afternoon -
1.40 Naas - LYNN'S MEMORY - Related to a few good 'uns and happy risking this nicely bred debutante at 10's.
1.55 Beverley - TIME TRAIL - Again, another nicely bred newcomer and the stable does get plenty of winners first time out.
3.05 Beverley - BROTHER MCGONAGALL - Turf debut and just his 2nd run in a h'cap. Half brother was a very good sprinter and happy to forgive this ones runs to date. Would expect an improved performance at 10's
3.10 Windsor - DOODLE DANDY - Tough ask for a 4yo, but comfortable with a small EW at 100's
4.20 Windsor - ZZORO - This is more his trip and won't mind any further rain. Should be thereabouts at 5's.

2.05 Turffontein - BEAUTE NOIRE and SAVE THE DAY - Both these are capable of better, so happy risking the 25's for each.
2.40 Turffontein - ZAPPY CHOICE and RIVER RUN - ZC has a good draw and this useful front runner may take some pegging back. RR has the blinkers back on and is on a very nice mark. Should get a tow into the race and should be finishing to effect at 16's.
3.55 Turffontein - HADDINGTON - Lost his form lately, but the trainer remains in good nick and this one looks dangerously handicapped at 33's.

The Atomic Belle win, took the pressure of for the day and also got another 12/1 winner form the Debuting Time Trail. Brother McGonagall did show a bit more with a 4th and one assumes will be going back up to 6f next time.
Of the other Turffontein horses. Zappy Choice was 2nd and both Save The Day and Haddington were big priced 3rd's.
