Horse Racing Bets Sunday 15th October

11.30 Greyville - Going with 3, to try and pick up a decent FC -

FIVES WILD ( Hinted at ability in both starts to date and something clearly expected today at a surprisingly short 6's )
LUNEBERG ( Pretty good debut and should improve for that at 7's )
LUCARA ( Finished distressed last time, but that was his best effort of 3 and was a good one given the circumstances. Early 50's looks big especially with Muzi Yeni booked.

12.05 Greyville - SO VAIN - Step up to 7f did not work and back down to a more suitable trip today. Back off a short break and solid EW chance at 12's. QUEEN OF SWING was still green on 2nd start and thinking the penny might just drop today at 50's.

1.15 Greyville - MOGOSTAR - Back to 6f today and blinkers added. Should have enough pace to aim at and really should be getting involved off a mark of 64

2.25 Greyville - DANCE ON AIR - Needed the run last time, but still finished close up. Immediately back up to 7f and should show at 6's.

4.15 Greyville - MAJESTIC SWORD - Just starting to get the hang of things after 4 starts and is bred to go on the Polytrack. Risky enough at 33's, but happy taking a chance at the price.

12.40 Greyville - Combination FC / TC with these -

DALE HOUSE
( Better effort last time, goes on the Poly and should get enough pace to aim at. 8's possibly a shade big )
ASTROMAN ( Runs the track well and another that should be finishing strongly at 6's )
SPECIAL ENCOUNTER ( Never seriously put in the race last time and still got within 5 lengths. 6f is his trip however and acts on the surface, so definite upset potential at 25's )

2.50 Chepstow - TOMMY RAPPER - Lightly raced and his listed novice 3rd is not far off the best of these. Short at 7/2, but probably fair enough with more expected this year.

4.00 Chepstow - MAN OF PLENTY - Better last time and 3rd run back today, so should be approaching peak fitness. Will need to improve on that, but dangerous at 20's, getting weight all round.

4.10 Naas - GALTYMORE - Fair form and they have never shied away from soft ground. Still a maiden, which is an obvious worry, but do feel 10f on the going to be ideal, so happy chancing the 12's.

5.20 Naas - RED STARS - Plenty of decent efforts on the ground and definitely up to this company. Fair chance at the weights and looks solid enough at 8's.

1.50 Greyvile - Combination FC / TC with these -

UNDER THE STARS ( Has form in better company and hopefully been freshened up by the short break )
DAMALI ( Plum draw, nicely h'capped and holds fair form. Should be thereabouts at 6's )
QUINTELLA ( Useful Polytrack horse and always happy to see this one going over 6f. Could easily get involved at 12's )

3.05 Greyville - ICED UP and ROY'S GOLD - Both available at 14's

5.10 Chepstow - SATURDAYNIGHTFEVER - Nicely bred newcomer at 9's

4.00 Chepstow - MAN OF PLENTY - Better last time and 3rd run back today, so should be approaching peak fitness. Will need to improve on that, but dangerous at 20's, getting weight all round.

Not sure how your others got on but i know this was only just beaten in 2nd. It was the only race i managed to get on today. I was on the winner but live feed put up Paddy Brennan's 32 red blog up just before the race and he mentioned it had an excellent chance and was expecting a good run, so i had an ew bet.
I didn't do the sodding forecast :duh

..quick glance at the results, nice pick with Red Stars!
