As speculated, yesterday's abandoned card at Turffontein, was indeed moved to today. Mixing them in with one from Greyville as well -

2.50 Turffontein - MASTER SWITCH and TILBURY FORT - This one is the area's leading contest and there looks plenty of pace and quality in the field. MS ran an eye-catcher last time is weighted with a shout and finished 3rd in last year's race. EW shout at 14's. TF is a fair sort who will be fitter after seasonal debut and represents a top yard. Both course 2nd's reads well and used to running in big fields, so another with a chance, this time at 25's.

3.05 Greyville - KINGSMEAD - Useful sort at this level and do feel that the has the ability to win off his current mark of 82. Should be thereabouts at 12's.

3.30 Turffontein - SHE'S A GIVER - 2nd run after rest and badly needed seasonal debut, will be fitter, can improve and holds a fair chance at the weights. Bit surprised by the early 14's on offer and every chance at those odds.

3.35 Navan - NICANDRA - Sneaking over to Ireland for this one, who is tackling a Bumper on 2nd start, following a disappointing debut over hurdles. Bred to be better that that and represents a top stable, so don't mind taking a real flyer at 50's

4.00 Turffontein - ROYAL HONOUR - 3rd run back and hopefully can build on improved last run. Likes the soft ground, has a good record at the track and remains on a competitive mark. Plenty going for him at 12's.

4.30 Turffontein - IRISH PRIDE - Bit more like it last time in a c & d feature event and may adopt similar front running tactics against today's opposition. Could prove hard to peg back at 8's.

5.00 Turffontein - DAWNBREAKER - Capable at this sort of level and gets in today off bottom weight. Looks about right at 7's

5.30 Turffontein - FANFARE - Not totally unsurprising debut flop as bred for further and immediately upped in trip today. Possible improver at 33's
