12.10 Vaal - Could not choose between a couple of " rags " so ended up with 4 in this race. Slight reduction in the stakes and do probably need minimum forecast to make anything -

INTANDOKAZI ( Missed the kick and never really involved last time. Much better than that run suggests and did actually go off FAV. Would expect better today at 6's )
WET AUTUMN MIST ( Below best latest, but is 2 from last 5 and chance on best form at 16's )
AQUABOUY ( Capable, if inconsistent this level and every chance on best form. Return to the trip will help and could choose to try and make all from stall 14. Interesting dark horse at 40's )
WARBASH ( Dropped to below last winning mark and has won this c & d. Does need to improve on recent efforts, but no forlorn hope at 33's )

AQUABUOY opened 28's, went off at 20's ( though still paid 48 on the SA Tote ) and came through with INTANDOKAZI to fight out the finish. They pulled nicely clear and Aquabuoy took it on the line. Forecast took a bit of a knock ( though still paid nicely ) and sadly WARBASH was 5th and WET AUTUMN MIST was 6th. Warbash certainly looked like he might challenge for the tricast spot

CASCIANO ( Last 7 all read well and do feel he has scope off 60. Very surprised by the early 9/2 on offer )
WOTTAHOTTIE ( Only wins here and whilst weak effort latest is back over the extra and can improve at 10's )
BLUE BLAZER ( Much improved last couple and not beaten that far either start. Possible front runner at 33's )

In no particular order, Poor, Shocking and Awful
 
1.25 Vaal - Again gone with 3 -

MAJESTIC BAY ( Has been competitve off higher marks and both career wins came here. Needs to improve on last 3 starts, but fairly priced at 33's to do so )
PENTELIKO ( Back off a break and may get going too late, but chance at 33's if the pace is lightning )
STREET FLYER ( Consistent recent form, in with a chance, with Strydom booked at 11/2 )
 
2.00 Vaal - Sticking with the them of 3 -

DRAGOON ( Not the most reliable out the stalls, but much improved recently and fair chance at 6's )
MINNESOTA ( Only wins this track and much better latest. Has the speed to get involved at 20's )
BOMBS AWAY ( Back off a break, but 1 from 2 this trip and interesting on stable debut at 33's )
 
2.35 Vaal - ANGEL'S POWER - Moderate latest, but Strydom back up and chance over this favoured c & d. Bit surprised to see the 6's on offer and shocked to see the 80's on MUTAKAYYEF, who could easily out- run that price.

3.05 Vaal - DIAMOND NOIR - Not sure what she beat in a Workriders Maiden and really hard to assess. Did do it very nicely that day and happy playing for a repeat at 12's.
 
2.15 Clonmel - GOAHEADMAKEMYDAY and KILGANER QUEEN - Couple of possible rags at 40's and 100's respectively.
 
3.00 Taunton - MINELLA STYLE - Winning Irish Pointer and fair debut under rules in an AW Bumper. Possibly going to need further in time, but don't mind risking the 33's today.

3.45 Newcastle - MAGISTRAL - Lightly raced recently and repeat of recent comeback run gives him claims

4.55 Newcastle - PACOLITA - Would have needed it last time and would expect better today at 8's

5.05 Ludlow - MR SYNTAX - Plenty of form this trip and interesting to recruit to Hunter Chases for his new yard. Risky, but probably fair at 25's.
 
5.35 Ludlow - Going with 3, all at EW prices, in this 9 runner contest -

PRINCE KHURRAM ( Not so good on recent return to hurdles, but has won this sphere )
CAPPIELOW PARK ( Poor recent form, but has won off a higher mark. EW squeak at 20's )
MAID OF TUSCANY ( Back off a lay - off and chance if this break has done him good. Fairly priced at 16's )
 
L15 for the rest of the Chelmsford card -

7.25 - CALVINIST

7.55 - GATILLO

8.25 - NO NOT AGAIN

8.55 - COLOR FORCE
 
Poor end to the day, but did back up the nice forecast with wins for Street Flyer and Angels Power. Also managed 3 big priced places, with GOAHEADMAKEMYDAY 3rd and MINELLA STYLE and CAPPIELOW PARK finishing 2nd at 33's and 40's respectively
