11.00 Fairview - VICE VERSA and DIAMONDS AND DIOR - Both on 2nd start, but vast difference in the prices with VV at 4's and DAD at 66's. Do see improvement in both however, though the latter obviously showed more on debut.

Easy win for VICE VERSA, but the other one was poor.

11.35 Fairview - TURNBERRY - Stable's can improve greatly for their debut and this one is certainly nicely enough bred. Handler has 3 others in the race, which is a concern, but this one caught the eye anyway at 66's.

12.10 Kenilworth - MIND BLOWING - Decent debut and should improve for this top yard at 7's.

12.45 Kenilworth - STUDIO BLUES - Bookies probably have it about right with TEASE ( 13/8 ) and LADY SUTTON ( 5/2 ) but no fun at those prices, so gone with SB at 25's. Only hinted at ability in 3 runs to date, but can see this one taking a big step forward.

1.20 Kenilworth - LUNA CHILD - Bit more like it latest and would not need much more to figure today at 6's

3.05 Kenilworth - FLYING RYAN - Not the most reliable sort, but capable on a going day and likes this track and trip. Viable outsider at 25's

7.00 Turffontein - AMAZING STRIKE and ANGEL'S POWER - AS has won at the course and should get enough pace to aim at back at 6f. Should be thereabouts at 7's. AP would have needed it last time and does hold some fair track form. Not the most reliable of sorts, but does have a win and pair of places from last six starts. Fair EW shout at 25's

7.30 Turffontein - LAURENT DU VAR - Golden Man is turned out again following his 20th career 2nd place on Saturday. Gonna have a chance of luck soon, but hopefully not tonight. LDV has yet to re - find his juvenile form, but showed a bit more last time and certainly has the pace to get involved. Draw 17 of 17 looks fine and may just try to make all at 16's.

AP 2nd at a drifting 50's. May have grabbed the lead 100 yards out, but close all the way to the line and got beat the minimum distance. Frustrating is the cleanest word I can use.
