Horse Racing Bets Tuesday 25th October

Had a quick look at the South African opener and whilst the top 3 in the betting all have merit, just can't have any of them at the prices. Gone with 3 of the outsider nature instead -

12.20 Vaal -

AUGUST DUKE ( 2nd run back. Could threaten if reproducing good penultimate run this c & d, when only beaten a half length. Shade big IMO at the early 20's )
CARVE THE TURKEY ( Improved again in latest, may show more if first time blinkers do the trick )
MIESQUE'S RUMBA ( Worth another crack this trip and outside chance on best form. EW squeak at 66's )

4.45 Bangor - JUST MILLY - Fair form to date and whilst the most exposed of these, still has appeal at 33's.

5.05 Catterick - BALLIOL - Blinkers replace cheekpieces and back off a nice short break. Yet to show for the Ron Harris yard, but now on a very nice mark.

7.00 Newcastle - BRYGHT BOY - Solid enough maiden, who remains in good nick. Fair form chance at 13/2.

8.00 Newcastle - POLISH EMPRESS - Some early 33's around, but that is long gone and now 8's. Certainly should improve on debut run and its a long way to come from Lambourn for nothing.

12.55 Vaal - MAJESTIC BAY - Back off an 11 week break, but plenty of form when fresh. Good record this trip and has won at the track, so just feel the early 10's to be too big.
