ATTHERACES are kicking off their coverage with live International racing. Hong Kong and South Africa are both on the menu, with 3 or 4 contests from each venue -

12.10 Durbanville - Thinking this one might go to a newcomer, so going with 3 that meet the profile -

PEARL JAM at 8's
LUNAR DAZZLE at 33's
CLIFTON BEACH at 40's

12.50 Durbanville - FLASH FIRE - Been on the go a while and was poor last time. Worried she might need a break, but equally does hold plenty of good form and represents a red hot stable. Would not be backing in the 3's - 5's range, but tough to ignore at the early 10's.

1.25 Durbanville - EVOLVER and DANCE A JIG - Evolver looked promising on initial 2 runs, but then disappointed last time. Had a nice break since then and blinkers added, so can get back on track at 20's. DAJ was not far off on debut despite running green and will strip fitter today. Certainly has scope and possible improver again at 20's.

2.00 Durbanville - TROJAN QUEST - Showed improvement latest from a bad draw and hopefully getting back to his earlier good form at 8's.

2.35 Durbanville - FAVOLA - Has his share of weight, but is a decent performer and has the assistance of a top jockey. Tough race to call, but could not ignore the early 8's on this one.

3.45 Durbanville - CAPE SPEED - All the fancied runners have had their issues, so backing anything in the race looks risky. CS holds some fair form, goes well fresh and should have enough pace to aim at. NO chance off a slow pace, so would need the leaders to go off hard in front, but pretty shore that at least one of them will, so comfortable going with the early 25's

12.15 Happy Valley - ROCKET LET WIN - Made good late headway on seasonal debut but finished down the field on latest outing. Obviously capable on a going day and has a better draw today, so could easily go well at 12's.

3.10 Punchestown - DANCING IN THE SKY - Plenty of " rags " in the race and for me this is the most likely of those at 100's.

3.35 Nottingham - ROTHERWICK and ZZORO - The latter has plenty of decent 10f form and whilst not having much " wiggle room " off this mark, still holds a fighting EW chance at 12's. The former did a bit too much in front last time, but has form at a higher level and did win a fair Newmarket race in May. Every chance if near his best, so the 33's just looks too big.

4.45 Punchestown - OSCAR LANTERN and BACK OFF MATE - OL has a chance with a clear round and if he finishes then the 22's will look big. BOM will be better for the comeback run, though still has a bit to find. Still holds an EW squeak at 40's
