5.15 Nottingham - Fear And Fast EW 13/2

Still a maiden after 14 runs admittedly but seems to be edging nearer to his first win with three places from his last four outings , only been with Jim Goldie for his last runs and his last time out second was a decent enough effort i thought and i think its interesting that the trainer sends just this one out today , making him the longest traveller of the meeting. Horse has run twice at Nottingham to date placing once. The decent claimer Jack Callan looks to be a solid booking , rides the horse for the first time , been in good form of late with a 16.1% strike rate in the past month and a profit of +£16.32. At the price i think hes worth an each way poke

2.48 Wetherby - Torneo 11/4 & 4.28 Worcester - Dwight K Shrute 11/2
Trainer Jamie Snowden is in decent form at the moment with a 55% strike rate over the past three weeks , and he sends a couple out today that may go well
Torneo - Making seasonal debut after 187 days off but given trainers recent form im hopeful that he'll be fit and ready to roll .. done well last season with two wins from his seven runs m and aside from the last race where he fell he was there or thereabouts on the other runs , that was a sound first season for chasing and hopefully he can do even better this term .. Yet to tackle this distance bit is one from one at the course. Gavin Sheehan in the saddle , and he has three wins and three places from his eight rides to date so knows the horse well enough. When teaming up with the trainer in the last 21 days they have a 46% strike rate , and the jockey has a 35% strike rate in the past fortnight , and both trainer and jockey have a 23% SR when coming to Wetherby overall.
Dwight K Shrute - Horse werent winning out of turn when winning on penultimate run last season but then followed that up with a lacklustre effort coming last of 7 on final start. Hopefully a break will have revitalised him and freshened up and a better showing may well be on the cards especially given the trainers recent form though a few others come into this in much better form. Top weight but jockey Isabelle Ryder takes off a handy 7lb , and shes been riding well with a 50% strike rate over the last three weeks and what caught my eye is that she has won on her last four starts for Jamie Snowden , making the partnership 100% over the last 3 weeks. Comes here for just one ride and hopefully it can be a winning one.
