Not that it really matters if you can't do it any more, but why would you want to put them both on the same game? Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I really can't see what the advantage would be in doing that

Last season I was well beaten by a player who used that tactic most weeks.
He was covering his bets in weeks when there was no obvious game favourite.
Look at it logically: -30 pts for a losing banker but 0 pts when doubled up with Insurance.
All other losing games would be a -10 score.

I support this innovation.

I suspect that you are no beginner.

Last season I beat another player who was my equal in predicting results, but failed to capitalise on keeping his bonus topped up..
I go for better bets even if they are X2 rather than dodgy X3.

There again I put my bonus on Arsenal in week 1 and ...........!!!!

Seems very complicated to me.

I would actually enter but for 3 reasons

a)If Im not in the top 100 of any comp I enter within a week I give up

b) I sometimes sleep for 24 hours and am bound to miss a week

c) I suspect you and Punter may be too good at this to make it worthwhile

Please re-read post No 1 by the organiser.
This competition is so easy to enter and forecasts can be placed weeks in advance.
All you are required to do is enter what you think the final result will be at the end of game. That's all.(Think of the Football Pools)
Bonus and Insurance you will pick up as the game becomes familiar to you.
Give it this season to get a grip of the game and come back next year as a potential league winner.

Actually,I was going to join just for this week (only to give up after I get 1 right) but didnt know how to hide my real name...

I haven't started very well this season , I'm 24th out of 28 with + 20 points , so you're bound to be in the top 100 of this league and you could make it your target to beat me- that can't be that difficult.

my biggest problem is remembering my password

p.s. missing a week can be an advantage some weeks , I had a few minus points weeks last season

Guys,
I run a different mini-league and we have a H2H with same players using their IKTS scores.
Would anybody be interested in starting one for our mini-league?
If so I'm prepared to organise it. But to run properly it would need a minimum of ten players.
It is free with no extra input by players.


There are a few web sites where anybody can organise such a tournament and I am using a good one.
Teams are drawn against each randomly by computer.
The rules are simple in that teams get 3 pts for a win, 1 for a draw and zero for loss.
Because none of these websites offer minus scores I've adapted the competition as follows:
If Team A beats Team B by less than 10 points (0 to 9 points), Team A records a 1-0 win. For every ten points difference would mean an extra goal.
Therefore for instance if Team A scores 35 points and Team B registers -10 points, the result would be a 4-0 win to Team A.

Let me know if you are interested and if we have enough players I get it off the ground.

Remember it is just a fun game, so don't get worked up about it.
All of us will all get minus scores sometime during the season. That's part of the fun.
On the IKTS site you will have opportunity to check the most popular predicted scores for one match. Just click on the face that appears on the home page against games of that week.
If it says most popular predicted score for Man U v Chelsea is 1-1 then I'd go for that.

I notice that this mini-league is titled Malvern Prem.
Why?
Malvern is not a million miles from Cheltenham.
The truth is that I'm really an Arsenal supporter but most of my mates are Cheltenham so hey-ho.

My hometown and most of the non board members in the league are too.
I go and watch Hereford Utd occasionally Newman, well i used to. To expensive and too shite these days though.
