Hard to believe you've been knocked off top spot with a score of 135 there Slick!
 
Confirmation that Mark Tipton beats Stuart Soul-boy Fletcher in the 2013 League Cup Final by 130pts to 120pts. Tippo' pockets £45 and Stuey £10. Well done fellas.

Also a reminder that the Xmas Cup starts in just two weeks time (week 12) so look after your bankers!


FA Christmas Cup

This competition will be started and run as a 4 week league (no knockout stage, who ever finishes top of the league wins the prize money), in the run up to Christmas, Gameweeks 12 - 15, with our points all starting at 0. It is a winner takes all competition that enables even the player at the bottom of the SMTM League the chance to find a bit of form and bag some prize money, being paid out just in time for Christmas.

In the event of a tie prize money will be shared.

Just a reminder that The Champions League competition starts this weekend fellas.

£75 to the winner £40 to the runner up.


Champions League

The CL group stage will run for 6 weeks from Gameweeks 21-26. The top 4 from the group then qualify for the two legged semi finals, being played in Gameweeks 29 and 31.

1st would play 4th and 2nd would play 3rd in head to head games (any banker bonus included) to win a place in the Final.

The CL final will be played as a head to head game (any banker bonus included) in Gameweek 34


(In the event of a tie in the league or in the semi finals, a head to head in the following gameweek, will decide who goes through. In the rare event of a further tie here, it would be decided by who sits highest in the SMTM league at present time, as it would should the final be a tie).

Confirmation that Stuart Fletcher will face Slick and Liam Pickering will face Tolly in the CL semi finals over 2 legs in weeks 29 and 31

No Slick, nothing different, just keep filling your scores in and if your score over those two weeks is higher than his then you're through to the final.

That didn't go as planned lol, with a bit of a lead I thought I'd play it safe.
My only hope in the end was a 3-0 win for City because I had my banker on it; near but yet so far lol.

One week to go till season end.
I would like to join this mini-league next season, as does a friend of mine.
Possible please to send me invite in the build-up to start of next season.
I might even get two or three others interested as well.
And don't worry they ain't much better at forecasting than I am.
 
As a Betnod member/poster you can definitely join next season Newman. I'll have to speak to the others about your friends joining though. As things stand i'd rather keep it to Betnod members/posters and people i know locally only.
