it was one of those lucky weeks for me in comps but disappointing betting-wise
 
Betnod League Cup
The league cup will run for 5 weeks, from Gameweeks 3 - 7, with us all starting with 0pts. The top two finishing the group will play head to head against each other in the final, in Gameweek 10
(In the event of a tie in the league or in the final, a head to head in the following Gameweek will decide who goes through or who wins. In the rare event of a further tie here, it would be decided by who sits highest in the BPL league at present time).

"Our friends Bonehead and Ben do battle in Gameweek 10"

Whoever arranged the gameweek 10 fixture did good. As Reggie said in an earlier post: "If this weekend's looked difficult, next weekend's are even worse. I really can't see any obvious banker candidate, whether from the x2s or the x3s :thinking"

It should be a damned good contest with just one League place between these two high scoring finalists. And they have been swapping high scores and places over the past few weeks.

Well done Reggie and Traeth and good luck to the chaps in the final next week, instead of Beavis and Butthead we have Davies and Bonehead.
 
I've been trying unsuccessfully to contact BoneHead to remind him that this week is an important one for him in the Betnod League Cup. I think he might be on holiday in Spain. Anyway I checked if he had entered his forecasts for the weekend and the good news is that he has.
The good news for Ben is that BoneHead entered those forecasts at same date and time as for Gameweek 9 and he probably will not amend them for tweaking regarding late injuries etc.
But be warned Ben, that BoneHead has been known more often than not to get fantastic week's scores when required. I've not beaten him in three years.

I think the betting odds have veered strongly towards Ben to win League Cup. Both he and BoneHead lost their Bonus but Bonehead has used his Insurance while Ben is 30 pts ahead.

Received the following email today from SteveStar (brother of BoneHead):
"Hi tom , we have just returned from a holiday in turkey , bonehead not doing very well this week on the talksport , i see you still going well , good luck mate"
Holiday in Turkey!! BoneHead obviously doesn't need the top prize money.
 
It's was a no comp for Ben in League Cup against BoneHead who had the ignominy of lowest score this week.

The Old Tomcat continues to lead the table at Gameweek 10. Nice going that man :clap With him at the top of IKTS and FGR 1st & Cheltenham Town 2nd in the National League, life must be pretty great right now, for the retired ninja from Gloustershire.
Slick, Rcgills and Kegman have been knocking in some good scores in recent weeks and are in the chasing pack.

Good score with 105pts Tippo, off the bottom and climbing now but Player and biggest mover of the Week is Action Dan. How the fcuk did he manage to score 160pts in a week like that! Up from 15th to 7th, top tipping sir! :clap

Aye well done Ben on winning the cup.
Big heads up to DiscoDan too on what was a cracking score considering the nightmare fixtures, that's probably the best performance of the season to date when you consider the other scores.
