I Know The Score 2015/16 - Paid Entry

Well done Newman, great comeback from you over the last few weeks.
History dictates I'll come 4th after Boneheads 90 point banker bonus comes in:ohwell
 
You're not going to like this fellas. Noooo. It all relates to the only thing wrong with this competition.... awarding points to players who dont enter scores.

Just as i was beginning to think..'isn't it great that the £50 Highest Score Prize is being settled on the very last GAME of the season between two players who entered some cracking predictions..'

Well it turns out there's three in the race for it.

Had a text earlier from my mate Stuart Fletcher, he's been away on holiday and had no signal on his phone, so he couldn't enter his scores.
Now in his defence, i'm quite certain that in the 7 or 8 years since i've been running this comp, this is the first time he's failed to fill them in.
So, as per the rules he gets awarded 'a silly score'. In this case 130pts. And because the Utd/Bournemouth game is now rescheduled for Tuesday... he's back in time to place his banker on a X3 game!

He could end up with 245pts and winning it! :lol
 
It's crackers ain't it, the silly bugger should have kept mum:lol

We have nothing in our rules that say's he shouldn't win should that be the case but maybe we can add them next yr for the highest score and cup prizes, it'd be impossible to moderate everyone for the full season comp.
 
Ah. I ought to mention now that I'm not able to run this comp next season.

I'd be happy for someone else to run one, but for a few reasons.... mainly due to time, i'd struggle to keep on track of it next season.

I'll still be about and helping out with the free cash competition etc but i cant do this one. Sorry Fellas.

Right, anything but a 2-nil win for United and I'm in the hackers.
You can bet your bottom dollar what the score is gonna end up.
 
Bonehead leads Howson by 20pts in the CL, so this is still to be decided too.

Bonehead's forecast 2-0 win Man U (Bonus not used this week)
Howson's forecast 1-1 draw.

Half time 1-0 to Man U

Irrespective of result Slick will have secured 3rd spot in table by also forecasting a 2-0 Man U win.
I'll wait until officially confirmed until I congratulate him.

I wouldn't have secured it Newman because Bonehead also had 2-0 with his banker bonus on it.
 
soz, I hadn't realised he's not used his banker bonus....Whoop Whooop!!
 
I can only think he's covering his CL lead because it's worth more money to him, did me a favour anyhow.

Well done again Newman and congrats on being crowned new champion.
Well done Bonehead too on winning the CL and Howson as CL runner up and also claiming a few bob.
I think this was one of the best seasons ever regarding IKTS more so considering the constant hard fixtures and strange results.
Well done to all who competed because it wasn't easy.

Slick, since Punter's not going to be able to run it next season, is there any way it could be run through Betnod?

I've had grown men crying on the phone to me today because i said i wont be running it. They've twisted my arm and now i will.

A few small changes...

I wont be able to promise weekly updates next season. I'll definitely be about to post up when needed, especially around the side comps and high score updates etc, but the normal gameweeks i may not be able to (if anyone wants to post them up you are welcome). The latest tables will always be available on the Talksport site anyway.

I wont be re opening the free Malvern League.

I will still take or make payments by cheque or Paypal. Winnings paid by Paypal may take from 2 hours to two days to reach you. Winnings by Cheque may take up to 14 days.

I could be losing as many as 10 from the league, if you think you know someone who might be interested then let them know about it. I dont know whether the league will be bigger or smaller next year. I think slightly smaller but it wont be restricted to 24 if i'm wrong.

That's about it. I'll go see who's won what this season now...

FFS. The highest score has been won by someone who didn't fill their scores in and then bankered Utd to win 3/1

I'm almost blooming sure that Predictor fouled it up with their chips this week.
There were many that apparently were not placed including mine on Soton v C Palace game.
Initially I thought I'd made a mistake and then placed it on Man U game tonight.
Seems BoneHead also placed his Bonus but it was not recorded.
However I suppose we must go by official table, even if we know it's wrong.
 
I thought the same Tomcat. I played my bonus chip but it wasn't recorded.
 
Yep, mine's not been placed either and I could've sworn I did. Thought maybe I'd made a mistake and just forgotten to do it, but if you're thinking the same then I suspect the same thing happened to me too. I can't remember which game I had it on though, pretty sure it was either Southampton v Palace or Man U v Bournemouth.

Only thing I can think of is maybe those that were originally placed on the Man Utd game didn't count as the game wasn't played when originally scheduled, and then the game was added back in as an "additional" game, and the bonus chips weren't reapplied to it?

Good news that you're running it again Punter :beer. Sure people can fill in for you with updates whenever you're not able to post them.
 
Hmm that's not good news. Fire some fucks into 'em Tom!
