You're not going to like this fellas. Noooo. It all relates to the only thing wrong with this competition.... awarding points to players who dont enter scores.
Just as i was beginning to think..'isn't it great that the £50 Highest Score Prize is being settled on the very last GAME of the season between two players who entered some cracking predictions..'
Well it turns out there's three in the race for it.
Had a text earlier from my mate Stuart Fletcher, he's been away on holiday and had no signal on his phone, so he couldn't enter his scores.
Now in his defence, i'm quite certain that in the 7 or 8 years since i've been running this comp, this is the first time he's failed to fill them in.
So, as per the rules he gets awarded 'a silly score'. In this case 130pts. And because the Utd/Bournemouth game is now rescheduled for Tuesday... he's back in time to place his banker on a X3 game!
He could end up with 245pts and winning it!
