Here are the rules

£30 entry fee.

Of your £30 entry fee your money will be broken down into 4 competitions (approx, as a rough guide only)...

£12 - Betnod Premier League (BPL) (3)*
£8 - Betnod Champions League (2)*
£6 - Betnod FA Christmas Cup (1)*
£4 - Betnod League Cup (2)*


(8)* Prize Money places paid, (prize money distribution will be confirmed when all entries have been confirmed. More prize money places could be added depending on number of entries).



On Selected Gameweeks the points you score will not only count for the league but towards other competitions too.You only have to enter one set of scores per week...


On paying your entry you will be given 4 codes for each of the four competitions.



Betnod Premier League (BPL)

Runs from Gameweek 1 to Gameweek 36


Betnod League Cup

The league cup will run for 5 weeks, from Gameweeks 3 - 7, with us all starting with 0pts. The top two finishing the group will play head to head against each other in the final, in Gameweek 10

(In the event of a tie in the league or in the final, a head to head in the following Gameweek will decide who goes through or who wins. In the rare event of a further tie here, it would be decided by who sits highest in the BPL league at present time).


Betnod FA Christmas Cup

This competition will be started and run as a 4 week league (no knockout stage, who ever finishes top of the league wins the prize money), in the run up to Christmas, Gameweeks 13 - 16, with our points all starting at 0. It is a winner takes all competition that enables even the player at the bottom of the BPL League the chance to find a bit of form and bag some prize money, being paid out just in time for Christmas.

In the event of a tie prize money will be shared.



Betnod Champions League

The CL group stage will run for 6 weeks from Gameweeks 21-26. The top 4 from the group then qualify for the two legged semi finals, being played in Gameweeks 29 and 31.

1st would play 4th and 2nd would play 3rd in head to head games (any banker bonus included) to win a place in the Final.

The CL final will be played as a head to head game (any banker bonus included) in Gameweek 36


(In the event of a tie in the league or in the semi finals, a head to head in the following gameweek, will decide who goes through. In the rare event of a further tie here, it would be decided by who sits highest in the BPL league at present time, as it would should the final be a tie).



General
Yes, £30 entry is a lot of money, but when you think of it as just 83p per week for the season, it's your IKTS addiction covered. You're going to be playing not only for prize money but for titles too!
Who's going to be the CL winner? Who can do the double? Treble? There are 4 titles up for grabs, win the cash and get you're name engraved on the imaginary trophies.

How to Join

1. First Enter the free 'Malvern Prem' league. This league may help to encourage other members to the payed leagues next season and is also the biggest league to win. Code: FD885-SMG


2. Get £30 to me before Saturday 15th August.

Workmates and locals can pay cash or cheque in hand, others can pay via cheque in the post or Paypal.

Scoring
After every gameweek, scores will be calculated based on the accuracy of the Prediction vs the Actual Outcome of each game. Points are awarded as follows:

  • 10 Points for the correct outcome of the match, that is home win or away win, but not the correct score, or goal difference or a draw between the teams. E.g. You predict Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea.
  • 15 Points for the correct outcome of the match with the correct goal difference but not the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea.
  • 20 Points for the correct prediction of a draw but not the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 2-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea.
  • 30 Points for the correct outcome of the match with the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea.
  • -10 (minus 10) Points are awarded for an incorrect prediction of the outcome of the game. E.g. You predict Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea.
In addition to the basic Scoring system described above, there are three additional items that can impact your Weekly score: 1. The Banker - This is played on the game you are most confident about. The Banker will double or treble your points for this game depending on the Banker Multiplier (x2 or x3). E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea and the score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea, the 30 points gets doubled to 60. It is also the same for an incorrect prediction, so if you predict Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea, and Arsenal win 1-0 you score -20 (minus 20). Only one Banker can be played for each gameweek of games.

2. Insurance - Is usually played on a match where the player is not confident of the outcome. Guarantees a score of no worse than 0 points (zero) for that game. E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea and Arsenal win 1-0, but you played Insurance on this game, you would score 0 points. Insurance can be played on the same game as your Banker but will not protect your Banker Bonus should you predict an incorrect match outcome. Insurance can only be played once for each gameweek of games.

3. Banker Bonus - Is calculated based on the number of consecutive times you have correctly played your Banker. Each time (up to a maximum of four) that you correctly predict the outcome of a game (home win, away win, draw) you increase your Banker Bonus for the following week by 5. So if you have correctly played your Banker 3 weeks running, 20 points will be added to your weekly score. See Table 2 below.

Ok Punt im happy to go along with whats best for you, if you manage to get 18 entrants this year that will be great.

Not sure if slick has mentioned it, but we should have at least 1 more entry from our works, and possibly another aswell.

It's a nice thought but i cant see it. I'd need about 40 entrants to make a prize fund for that. And they'd all have to be available via pay pal. I'd have to be up the bank too often!

Maybe you could run it in the Malvern League though?

Kop66, I've just spotted the four new leagues that you've opened today and all with pictures of bloody Liverpool FC.
Oh well, at least they aren't of Man U.fecking.nited.
Bit lonely you being the only player registered but my cheque should arrive tomorrow.

I knew you'd be the 1st to rip me for that.

I'll change them.........sometime.

I've opened up the leagues just to make sure i've got everything right as the site has a new layout again. It gives you one or two more options this season, i can set the gameweeks to finish as well as start this season. I had to remember close them down last season.
I'm not keen on the page where you have to fill the scores in though.

Codes will be available towards the end of next week, i have to call in to see the night shift next Wednesday, it's where this competition started and i have to make sure they're ok with everything. I'm sure they will be but i owe it to them to get the codes 1st.
 
My brother has decided to join the league too, his IKTS name is Bakesy.
I'll get the money to you via Paypal sometime during the week Punt.

Well done all, looks like there could be as many as 20 this season.

The scoring part of the site is crap, why did they have to change it.
 
I've not even had a look at it yet, they did the same thing last year when they could have left well alone.

I'll have a look at in in the week and voice my opinion lol.
If it's like last yr then I'll think it's a fcuk up but soon get used to it.
