After resisting several times I finally succumed and bought this book with one click on amazon.
And by God is it CRAP.
Just incredible how bad it is.
Its so fucking daft that I doubt anyone not famous would have had a chance in hell of getting this published.
I mean,
a) its not even suspenseful at all
b) its set in Florence but does it make me want to visit it-no
c) does it make me care about ANY of the characters-no
d)does it teach me anything about people -no
e) is it well written-God no
On the plus side you learn a lot about Dante and the famous picture of hell that Dantes Inferno inspired in Dore.
Still,Ive only read 100 pages.
It can only get better.
No doubt the movie will be a blockbuster.
