De Gea.

Well Fergie needs to choose a goalkeeper and stick with him. De Gea was showing some form before he was dropped, and as a result, he was displaying more composure in the box and commanding more authority at set pieces.

Yesterday, he chose the wrong moment to have a flap. De Gea shouldn't get the blame for yesterday's defeat though. The team selection was wrong and overly ambitious against a side clearly fighting for their survival and their manager. The play was sloppy and slow. United only looked dangerous in that brief period they stepped up a gear. United are riddled with injuries and I guess being within three points of City at this point of the season is a major let off, but also a testament to their desire to win. Unfortunately, the desire to win was left at home yesterday.

The rumours about another Rooney/Fergie row seem to possess some truth. With so many injuries, why would Rooney be left out with a just few 'niggles?' OK, don't start him, but at least keep him on the bench as an option if things go pear-shaped.

Next there's an away game at Newcastle. Double chance anybody?
 
haha its funny how when united lost to blackburn the giddy city fans come with there snied little comments, then when sunderland beat them the all disappear!! haha typical.
 
Nothing to add Wes and welcome to Betnod by the way, I said it will be nip and tuck to the end of the season and nothings changed, I also said that the United defeat gives City some leaway as i expect them to drop points against either Sunderland or Liverpool.
The ball is still in Citys court as we are still Injury free and have allready played most of the so called big teams away from home, It's Yorkie boy who's confident of United winning the league by 3 points hence he's gonna get some flack every time United fcuk up:lol

Nice one Yorkie but why would anyone believe that prediction when the last one you made (top by the end of the year) turned out to be utter bollocks?

Not very likely mate. Yorkie was talking about United winning the Newcastle game by two goals. You may remember they were hammered 3-0

we were poor in the 2nd half.. yorkies bet should have come in. i remember united getting thrashed 3-0 the other night and i also remember united getting thrashed 6-1 by city.. but i reckon i will enjoy my dinner more than u bluenoses today!!

yeah i didnt realise, is it true kompany banned for 4 matches? and no kolo toure, city will end up trying to sign a world class centre half now.
