MANAGER CHANGES Management coming's & going's

Pepe Mel gone to odds on favourite after talks during the week & his technical director leaving http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26377357
The key here is that he's a fluent Spanish speaker, & Pepe's not great with English. As much as people want to see Moyes fall on his face, I don't think him & Pepe should be in the same ballpark odds wise

He didn't headbutt Meyler, he was just trying to move him away with his head :lol:lol:lol

"He was right on top of me and I wanted to just ease him away from me but obviously I put my head in a forward motion.

"I want to apologise to him, everyone at Hull and obviously my own fans as well.

"I don't think it was a headbutt. It wasn't a motion that was quick."

It's symptomatic of the dog eat dog society we have degenerated into and one wonders whither we are heading and what punishment might be condign..

I couldn't agree more, Steve - there was never any violent outbursts by anyone in the good ol' days, everyone got on with everyone.

I blame the parents.

Or something.

What this is symptomatic of is that even Steve has cottoned on to the fact that nobody gives a flying fuck about his asinine, biased, bigoted opinions on every boring subject under the sun and had decided to pop his nose into other forums in order to get a response.

You don't know anything about anything Steve so fuck off back to your hole, there's a good chap.

These putative role models elevated by Thatcherism to positions of responsibility beyond their competencies are blinded to societal realities which individuals like myself have to pick up. Were there any tributes paid to the late Sir Tom Finney here? I didn't read any..

I have seen the crowd mentality on so many occasions and the individuals who over the years have brought the game we invented into disrepute..

if they were going to sack him they wouldn't have reacted so quickly fining him to pre-empt the FA IMO. He's not a runner for me, & it's a betting thread, not an ;it wouldn't happen in my day' diatribe :unsure

I don't think so. Feel free to start one somewhere. This place is not a book of memorandum for every dead footballer, regardless how talented they may have been in their day but knock yourself out.

That's gone now, 125/1 on Skybet still there though

Sorry if i sounded an ass before, but i just cant see why Peligrini to go from City should be SO BIG?
City have one of the best squads in the world but of late they seem to be not doing so well as when Mancini was in charge. Peli' looks stoned to me all the time, i know he's not, but he looks it. I was prepared to give him time but that cock up substitution in Munich was a schoolboy error and now he's found himself with what looks like to be out of two cups and 9pts behind in the league. I dont think the league cup should save him and that we should remember that i could of won the league cup with that team.

I know there's always going to be more managers going from the bottom half, bottom 4, but occasionally they go from the top four, too. And in the top 4 at present i've got Peli' as being in the weakest position.

Skybet go 125/1, i make it 14/1 biggest..

125/1 is far too big, I agree. I'm just not sure I can see him going when they can still win the league, but I agree the league cup is irrelevant, particularly as they'd been talking about the quadruple, then after the Bayern 1st leg, the domestic treble, & now....erm....well lol

From oddschecker..

Is Wenger leaving? Still 50/1 available if you believe the rumours

Even if he announced he was leaving he surely wouldn't leave straight away and someone else will be sacked before the end of the season which makes the "next manager to leave" market not worth playing. Is there a market for whether he'll start the season in charge at the start of next season?

I dont know?

Do you think somebody will be sacked before the end of the season? I dont, i cant say that with confidence but i dont think anybody will be.

Possibly. Before the end of the season one of the clubs near the bottom will maybe announce that a manager is leaving. God knows how they settle the market if 2 managers officially leave on the last day of the season. Dead heat rules I suppose.

Anybody else pressed the "quote in conversation" button by mistake when replying to a post or is it just me?
