Sunday 28th April

A few raiders at Longchamp catch my eye ..

2.50 Al Riffa (JP O'Brien - Db McMonagle) 7/2
2.50 Crypto Force (Adrian Murray - David Egan) - 1/2 Point EW - 33/1
2.50 Fantastic Moon (German raider whose entered into the Epsom Coronation Cup) 11/2

3.25 American Sonya (JP O'Brien - DB McMonagle) 7/2

4.00 Shades Of Summer (Jane Chapple Hyam - Laura Pearson) 7/2
4.00 Embrace (George Boughey - DB McMonagle) - 1/2 Point EW - 12/1

Tuesday 30th April

John Gosden has been in scintillating form lately , since the 26th April his figures read - 3,3,3,2,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 and he has four out today (two apiece in two races)

3.15 Yarmouth - Cat Ninja 7/2
3.15 Yarmouth - Running Spirit 9/2

3.50 Yarmouth - Lord Of Love 13/2

Right gonna start this from scratch again .,. new month and all that

Thursday 2nd May

6.33 Chantilly - Pinafore EW @ 6/1
Willie Haggas sends just this one over to France today which caught my attention , was a decent second in last race of last year and made a decent enough return to action when sixth last time in a listed race at Bath , should come on for that run and be there or thereabouts.

Thursday 2nd May

Andrew Balding has his string in good nick at the moment and he sends out four today , one to different courses ..

3.35 Lingfield - Dance And Romance @ 13/8
Made a winning debut , and should come on for that i think and given the trainers form at the moment has to be in with a shout despite being up against an odds on Simon Crisford horse .. David Probert onboard and he rode the horse to its win last time and he has been in good form lately with a 23.3% strike rate over the last four weeks and when hes won on his last two starts for the trainer (trainer/jockey have a 37% strike rate in the last three weeks). He does well here at Leafy with an 18.8% strike rate this season along with a profit of +£15.79 , as does Andrew Balding who has a 26.7% strike rate this term.

3.52 Redcar - Hopeful @ 7/2
Hopeful makes her handicap debut this afternoon and despite a poor showing last time she still looks to have potential now going up in distance and i think she could go well. Trainers sent her a fair way and its his only runner on the card.

7.20 Doncaster - Transistioning @ 5/1
Unraced gelding but trainer has his horses in solid form at the moment so cant discount. One of the longest travellers of the meeting and i cant see the trainer sending him here if he didnt fancy his chances. Oisin Murphy in the plate and since the 22nd April his record for the trainer reads - 2,1,1,1,1,3,3,2,2,1,1,3 and has a 20% strike rate over the last coupla weeks.

7.30 Chelmsford - Works Of Art EW @ 12/1
Making seasonal debut , so fitness has to be taken on trust but as the trainer is in such good form id have to trust his judgement. Probably has to improve to take this but thats possible.

Friday 3rd May

As i said yesterday Andrew Balding has been in fine form lately and he sends out three today

2.25 Newmarket - Sayedaty Sadaty 13/2
3.50 Goodwood - Kings Lynn 9/2
4.25 Goodwood - Portsmouth 5/4

Ben Haslam is another trainer whose bang in form at the moment , 37% strike rate over the last 21 days and he sends a couple over the border to Musselburgh today

2.15 Musselburgh - Purple Martini 5/1
4.30 Musselburgh - Violeta 14/1

Friday 3rd May

2.05 Goodwood - Crescent Lake 7/1 - Non Runner

3.15 Goodwood - Spanish Star 3/1
Won this race last year and i think he could go well again this time , made a decent return to the fray when fourth last time out and should come on for that run. Now down to his last winning mark and has won five times over todays CD. Class , draw and going are all ticked in the right box and the in form David Probert onboard and he has three wins and seven places from his twenty rides to date. Jockey has a 22.2% strike rate over the last month along with a profit of +20.50 and Patrick Charmings has been amongst the winners with a 25% strike rate in the past fortnight.

7.20 Newcastle - Wren Officer 6/1
Quite like the chances of Wren Officer in this one , won two from six races this year and comes into this on the back of a length and three quarters win over Brummel last time out , making her two from two over this evenings CD.
Also gonna do a 1 point combination forecast (6 Bets) with
Wren Officer , Test Of Love and Raft Up

A couple of UK raiders go over to Longchamp today to try and spoil the party

4.13 Longchamp - Flying Finn EW @ 10/1
Would have to step up on what hes achieved so far in all honesty but thats not beyond possibilty and trainer Adrian Keatley sends just this one to the meeting , and hes not one that usually sends them over as far as i know (could be wrong though) and the fact that he has Gerard Mosse booked to ride could mean that he means business.

5.23 Longchamp - Docklands @ 13/8
Harry Eustace has just this one at the meeting today and catches my eye. made a pleasing comeback after 193 days off when second to Quddwah in a listed stakes race at Ascot at the beginning of the month , only went down by a neck and should come on for that run so hopefully can get his head in front here. Hayley Turner makes the trip for her sole ride and she gets on well with the horse with 3 wins , 2 seconds and a third from 7 rides to date. Shouldnt be far away.

Thursday 23rd May

2.50 Lingfield - So Sleepy 5/2 - Next Second 7/2
I like two in this one , first one is topweight SO SLEEPY who comes into this after a fair fourth on her return to action , should come on for that run and im expecting a better showing today especially at a track where shes never been unplaced , a win and three places from her four runs here over this afternoons CD. NEXT SECOND was third in the above race , beating So Sleepy by a length , and after seven months off that was a good effort and like SS im hoping for a better showing this afternoon now the cobwebs have been blown away. Ruth Carr sends just this one on the long trip to Leafy so im hoping it wont be a wasted journey

Friday 31st May

7.45 Doncaster - Rathbone EW @14/1
Michael Herrington has a 45% strike rate over the last couple of weeks and sends just this one out today which caught my eye , in fact in the past month his strike rate has been 29.2% along with a profit of +£61.70 so definatley seems to have his string in good order. Horse himself hasnt shown much in his three runs this season but is more than capable on his day , the fact hes come down in the weights catches my eye as does the fact that he has a decent record over this evenings CD - two wins and two places from nine runs. 3lb claimer Ben Sanderson here for just this one and over the last three weeks when teaming up with the trainer they have a 33% strike rate , first time up on the horse. At the price worth an each way shot i thought.

7.35 Stratford - Annamix 3/1 - Go On Chez 7/1 .. Win Singles & Reverse Forecast
Couple catch my eye in this Hunter Chase , first one is Annamix who was third in the Foxhunters at Aintree last time out , a repeat of that would definatley see him in the mix here , first time over todays distance but has won over 3m1f so fair chance that it shouldnt be a problem and i cant see his trainer running him if he didnt think he'd get the trip tbh. Willie Mullins sends just this to the meeting and he has a 29% strike rate over the last three weeks which didnt go un noticed , P Mullins on board on his sole start of the day and he has a win and a place from his three rides to date on the horse , has a 50% strike rate over the last coupla weeks and when teaming up with the trainer over the last three weeks the pair have a 57% strike rate. Go On Chez comes into this on the hunt for a three timer having won both his starts this season , and is a very consistent , likeable sort. Trainer has just this one here and he has a 26% strike rate over the last month , sure to be in the mix.

4.00 Carlisle - Test Of Love 5/4
4.45 Chepstow - Knight Templar 9/4

Mark Prescott sends out a couple today , one to Carlisle and one to Chepstow , making them one of the longest travellers at each meeting which caught my attention .. and when he sends them out some distance and only the one he invariably doesnt come home empty handed . Been in decent form lately with a 38% strike rate over the last couple of weeks .. and he does well at both courses when sending his runners .. at Chepstow he has a 34.8% strike rate whilst at Carlisle he has a 22% strike rate ..

Saturday 1st June

12.40 Worcester - Exclusive Getaway* 15/2
1.10 Worcester - Top Of The Bay* 8/1
9.00 Stratford - Hollow Ron 9/1

Oliver Greenall / Josh Guerrriero have their horses in tip top nick at the moment with a 26% strike rate over the last two weeks , and when they team up with Henry Brookes (denoted by *) they come away with a 27% strike rate in the past three weeks , they team up for two at Worcester. The trainer sends just one to Stratford , partnered by 3lb claimer Toby Wynne , that could be worth an each way.

----------------------------------------------

4.38 Doncaster - Rogue Tornado 2/1
7.45 Lingfield - Usario Amigo 15/8
8.30 Stratford - Forget The Way 9/4

James Owen is in fine form at the moment and he sends three out , to different meetings , and all three look to hold chances in their respective races.

----------------------------------------------

8.18 Churchill Down - Ottoman Pearl 5/4
Charlie Appleby sends one to contest the grade 3 Arlington Stakes at Churchill Downs , looks to hold a good chance.
