Npower League Two betting 28-31st January

I've got Bolton @ 7/5, Bristol Rovers @ 6/5 and Shrewsbury -1 @ 11/4 in a Trixie.

clap

Neither Madjo or Aldershot came in for me, althoguh apparently Madjo looked good. -6 points on the day, but on the other hand my anteposts generally did well so it could be worse. And Aldershot won and scored two :dance

6pts staked on the trixie, 63.5 pts returned, 4.5pts lost on Guy Madjo bets but i reckon i'll recoup that next week. I just get the feeling that when he scores one he'll probably get 2 or 3 in the same game.
A good day barring Herefords loss but i was never going to have a great day all round with that one.
:)

For Sunday's game I've invested in Oxford (DNB) (8/11, Sky) and Under 2.5 (17/20, Vic C). Although not separated by much in the table, Burton are on a downward spiral (one win in eight) and Oxford are going the other way (one defeat in eight). Oxford are also pretty decent away from home; they can get nervy in front of their own fans. For Burton, Billy Kee is very likely to miss out.

Without Kee, Burton have been a bit shot shy recently, while Oxford tend to keep it tight on their travels.

I think both punts are just about value. I'd normally leave the game alone, but rarely for L2 the game's bettable in play so at worst I'll be able to recoup some losses.

I've joined you with a couple of bets on the game TC, a few quid on the away @ 11/8 and some smaller ones on Constable again for 1st and anytime @ 6/1 and 7/4.

I'm on Oxford, together wath an Arsenal lay. Left Constable, never liked supporting the police :ohwell

i've just added him for a brace and hattrick at 10/1 and 50/1.

Not much happening at Burton according to the commentary. Taken neither side to reach 7 corners at 21/20. Small bets as I'm not an in-play specialist.

Edit - 3 quick corners and a goal :banghead

Unders :)
Oxford DNB - Money back
In play corners :)

So a modest profit on the day, despite some covering in play.

Well done TC, nice one

no good for me today but little lost and a good weekend overall :)

I've gone for Swindon +0.25 at Southend in the challenge (Bet365, 33/40) so this is putting my money where my mouth is. Swindon doing well and strenthening over the last couple of weeks and with six wins in eight, Southend not firing on all cylinders (3 wins in 8). Southend are still decent so this is a value punt rather than a likely winner, and although Southend miss a couple the bet is is devalued by Swindon being without influential defender Flint (which I didn't know when I went for it in the challenge :banghead). Flint looked immense against Aldershot a few weeks ago and will be missed - although to be honest my mother-in-law with her zimmer frame could do a job as a defender against our 'attack' :cry at the moment. Only two units.

:dance Wishing I'd been a bit more confident witrh my stake now. Clearly Flint wasn't missed...
