He badly missed the break at York and probably finds that turning 7f too sharp, especially giving the field a big head start. The only time he's ever won over 7f round a bend was at Musselburgh earlier this year where they went a ridiculous gallop up front (smashed the course record) enabling him to power home (made me look a fool as I said he couldn't win over a turning 7f ).
He's won back to back races 3 times before so I'm really hoping they run him again soon (plenty of Newcastle AW meetings approaching).
Incidentally, he's always one to try for a big price in-running due to his slow starts, Timeform says he went 70.0 today but he actually touched 280.0 to small amounts), he hit 42.0 when winning at Musselburgh in June (SP 12/1) and hit 170.0 for his Chester win last year (SP 11/2).
