1.50 LONGTOWN @ 7/1
Hobbs/Johnson combo and i think Trevor Hemmings might have a good day. His horses are in form for various trainers atm. His last five runners have finished 3/2/5/1/2. All irrelevant of course.

2.50 FADAS @ 7/1
Two fair runs for Skelton since coming over from France. Form not as bad as it looks and a local track for Skelton. Back in the pub by 3.10

3.25 RUSSE BLANC @ 6/1
4 Mile too far last time, close up 2nd of 10 over 3 mile 2f previous. Two course wins from 3 visits to the track and an old fav of mine :inlove

4.00 CATCHING ON @ 7/1
C/D winner last month. Would of won by further but for a blunder at the last.

4.35 CLOTH CAP @ 9/1
Another Hemmings runner, Aiden Coleman on board, who has +£16 profit to a £1 stake in NHF races. More irrelevant nonsense. Hemmings!

5.10 CAPTAIN JACK @ 80/1
I've no idea why the fuck i'm backing this thing? Place money? R.Prices only runner? Scu' staying behind to ride it? On drugs? MY LADS NAME??
Racing post says it needs to find a lot and it does, but has 3 runs under the belt now and a similar thing was said about another one of Price's horses not so long back and it improved for the 4th run to get 4th. That's the market i shall have another small bet in at a good price, tomorrow.

Good start and you would have made a profit with level stakes with a 7/1 winner but I'm guessing you'll have made a small loss including the ew combo bets?
 
Yes, i lost about half my stake. I usually need a couple of winners with this type of bet, or at least a few placed.
I did recover superbly well last night though and have gone for gold on a couple in the last at Wetherby today.

Another Hemmings horse BLOTTO @ 20/1 and NEW LIST @ 12/1. Blotto was beaten 125 lengths lto but was eased down quickly when beat. New List is one of B.Ellisons runners and has a decent strike rate in these type of races.

Two big e.w bets, on the basis of a lucky win last night, rather than the strength of their chances.
 
I’ve been having a bit of success with patents and trixies lately. So I’ll put a stop to that right now by posting them up.

I was looking at some early odds for the 6.30 at Chepstow last night as I was interested in the favourite, CHEVALGRIS. Couldn't help but notice the outsider BARNEY RUBBLE was already blue across the board, 50/1 into 33/1 and 25/1 with some.
Looking at the odds again today and it is now 8/1!

Gonna have a look at today's mate. I don't usually do multiples but if I do I'm a lucky 15 man so will probably drop one of those and back the others in a L15:beer
