Hi, 1st post on this particular board and probably going to be a bit controversial.
Am i the only one that find it a little bizarre that anyone in this day and age anyone actually pays for sports tips ? With all the info on the net i would've thought that pro tipsters would be redundant but apparently not . So in a bored moment i thought i'd check a few of them out. What an eye opener that was. Prices for tips range from 9 euro to..wait for it....$12000 US. That was just for starters. Reading the tipsters past records was another surprise. The best one had to be the claiming an 88% ROI. In fact quite a number of sites claim around the same mark. It's very misleading as they calculate on their total turnover rather than to level stakes which would give you a truer picture of their worth. The 88% claim was actually more like 2.91% which is a tad low for a so called pro punter. They should be at least 5% to level stakes.
Then you check out the prices of their tips. The average appears to be somewhere in the region of the 1.70's. WOW. You just paid 50 euros for 1.70's shot. Good call. I just did a very quick check on one of those live scores sites. Taking the top 4 Div's in the UK and since the 15/9 you'll find 12 games where a team is paying in the 1.70's. 9 of the won giving you a profit of a little over 3pts. Hey i'm a pro tipster...! In retrospect of course.
Seriously, think about it. If you're paying between 50-100 euros a month for tips then you are already down before you start betting. There is so much free information on the net that all it takes is a little effort and you should be able to pick your own winners on a regular basis. It really is'nt as hard these pro tipster tell you. Trust me, it's much more fun and rewarding picking a 2.00+ winner yourself than paying someone for a 1.70 shot that you probably could've picked yourself anyway.
Oh and no, i'm not selling anything. I am not nor intend to be a pro tipster. I don't need the money..!
