Ryder Cup 2012 Betting 28-30th September

  • D Johnson/Kuchar v Colsaerts/Lawrie
  • Watson/Simpson v Rose/Molinari
  • Woods/Stricker v Garcia/Donald
  • Dufner/Z Johnson v McIlroy/Poulter
Brave man putting Donald out there again. Where's that bugle? Europe 10's now, not over but looking difficult

That first one looks interesting, with the driving of Johnson v Colsaerts. the Belgian has come down to earth after yesterday, missing putts this morning. Hard to call. Lawrie played ok yesterday, was just taken out by an early onslaught. he's steady.
Bubba will hit back I think, USA
How will tiger respond. How will Donald? Garcia v Stricker the key
Dufner looks as though he wouldnt blink if he was staring out an airliner, although he'd struggle against Ronald MacDonald/ Simply has to be McIlroy & Poulter, as if it isnt, its goodbye Cup

The only one that interests me is Poulter and Mcilroy. I'll wait to see if the price drifts to evens and then have a bit on it.

Sod it, I've gone for all draw at 7 on betfair. We haven't had any so far and that can't continue - especially in four ball where there's probably more chance of a draw than any other format.

Didn't explain that very well. Backed the draw in each game individually. One draw = a profit

This is fucking painful to watch. They could go out tomorrow 8 points up and still lose the fucker. Fair enough the yanks were brilliant for the best part of yesterday and early today but now it's a case of Europe just being fucking wank. I could knock some of these puts in with my bell-end.

Aye it's been a let down but a good day of sport overall, I'll catch up with it again after this last RL playoff semi finishes, hopefully we can claw a few points back in the afternoon session but it's not looking likely.

Long way to go but you have to feel we need it to turn pretty soon. Someone like McIlroy needs to find a bit of magic. Interesting thought though, the Yanks have seemed more of a team than I can ever remember, which is normally our domain, but tomorrow they're all on their own

Decent bet on colsaerts/lawrie to lose as there is no way colsaerts can repeat yesterdays feats.

Fantastic putt from DJ !!!!! USA USA USA (fingers crossed)

how many holes have Colsaerts hit? Reckon you've ridden one there Keg :naughty

well, I've seen poulter get slagged, on here & elsewhere, & he's the kind of bloke that no matter what the sport, if you played against him you'd consider him a cock.....but you cant knock that. 5 birdies on the trot?! Jesus Christ

Bubba Watson v Luke Donald - 17:03 BST
Webb Simpson v Ian Poulter - 17:14 BST
Keegan Bradley v Rory McIlroy - 17:25 BST
Phil Mickelson v Justin Rose - 17:36 BST
Snedeker v Lawrie - 17:47 BST
D Johnson v Colsaerts - 17:58 BST
Z Johnson v McDowell - 18:09 BST
Furyk v Garcia - 18:20 BST
Dufner v Hanson - 18:31 BST
Kuchar v Westwood - 18:42 BST
Stricker v Kaymer - 18:53 BST
Woods v Molinari - 17:04 BST

Pretty much as expected tbh, flair & talent up front for Europe, experience down below for the Yanks. With the Yanks needing just 4 & 1/2 points, the problem ties I think will be:
Snedeker v Lawrie - Sneds looked decent, although Lawrie hasnt done much wrong apart from chasing early & not quite getting there
Dufner v Hanson - Dufner has looked awesome in his first Cup, & seems to carry an air of 'what the fuck is everyone getting excited about?'. Not as good a putter as everywhere else, lets hope Hanson can make the difference there. Could be different for Dufner on his tod. Dont see it, but could be.
Kuchar v Westwood - Kooch is in form, Westwood not. Our man needs all his experience here.
Stricker v Kaymer - Kaymers looked out of sorts, although must Stricker must have a bad back what with carrying Tiger for 2 days.
Woods v Molinari - same as last time. Molinari's feisty, could get under a struggling Tigers skin, although Woods was coming back as the days went on

Those 5 are the ones we have the most problems with I reckon, & we need 3 of them, the rest can be won.
In hindsight, Mickleson v Rose could be dodgy, but which Mick?
Furyk v Garcia? Wow. That could kick off!

how many holes have Colsaerts hit? Reckon you've ridden one there Keg :naughty

Sure did swoops. Colsaerts was really unlucky that more putts didn't sink.

I'm on Snedeker and Kucher today. Simply because they are playing 2 that are out of sorts.

Taking about out of sorts. Woods. How can someone be so woeful gor 10 holes snd then produce amazing golf for the remaining.

I may bet Rose to beat Mickleson because with nobody to hit the fairways for Mick I think Rose could have the beating of him if he doesnt let the Mickleson fan club get to him.

Colsaerts may also get on my list. His golf this weekend has been the best from Europe and with him having a good track record at matchplay it may be foolish not to include him.

Bradley v McIlroy could be great viewing as well. I think Mickleson has brought out the best golf in Bradley but his over excitable nature got on my wick.

I think Bradley will flounder on his tod, & that scenario is, i think, Europes only chance

I have a good feeling about this, & have taken a bit of 13.0 & also 14.5-13.5 Europe @ 26.0
