Saturday Bet

Looks like one to be having a good look at next time out, although I didn't see the race. Good shout Topdog.

The name reminded me of one I backed yesterday called Hada Men. It came 2nd at 5/1 in the 320 at Chepstow which is nothing spectacular in itself but the fight that the animal put up after being last of the lot and then almost winning was amazing. It's entered for Leicester on Tuesday but with the effort it put in yesterday, that's not going to happen but it's got bottle that's for sure and the fact that the going yesterday was "heavy in places" may account for it dropping places and then picking up again. Put it in your tracker folks.

Bertimont got stuffed in the Champion hurdle but 16 lengths to Faugheen is no disgrace. The Scottish champion hurdle was always the target last year but for some reason he never went.

Backing Gassin Golf too, an old favourite of mine, but the Bertimont bet is a big one by my standards.
