11.50 Durbanville - I'M A LADY - Bit big now, having drifted to 16's.
 
I'M A LADY a frustrating 2nd. First race at Turffontein was run, but then the rain and lightning threat hit. Still no news on any possible resumption. Much better weather in the Cape and going with one in the third -

12.25 Durbanville - QUE FOR YOU - Only debutante in the field and besides the FAV, not sure there is much to fear for this one at 11's.
 
1.00 Durbanville - SPY - Needed comeback run in what was a much stronger handicap. Should strip fitter today and has bagged the one stall, so really do not get the 33's on offer.

Got the price aspect right as went off 14's. Did not see the build up or race itself, so don't know if it opened up much shorter and / or it was backed on course. Bit unlucky not to get the result right as well as SPY was only beaten a head in 2nd.

In the 2.45 SELAILAI which was 12's earlier was then shortened into 17/2 and has opened on course at 13/2.
 
3.20 Durbanville - DUKE OF DIAMONDS - Nicely bred newcomer at 14's
