It's just occurred to me that looking at horses first time out and reading what the markets are saying may be the basis of a system I know I'm slow on the uptake and that others will have thought of this but I'm looking at this race - Backing Alfraamsey by the way 10pts 4/1, just beaten by a head last time out - you would expect horses with a previous run to be backed according to what they've done but others can only be judged on their breeding and (probably more importantly) what their trainers/stable staff/connections think of them.
There are three newcomers in this race, two of them are the outsiders but Daddyow is fourth fav at a best price of 12/1 (stan james). Got to be worh a small ew I reckon
