Warrington win the 2nd semi and go on to face Leeds in next Week's Grand Final. For me Wire just deserved the win as they turned there pressure into points, whereas Saints were not far enough ahead following a superior first half performance. Would not be Rugby League though without a controversial refereeing decision and the decision to allow the 2nd Waterhouse try was a bit of a shocker. The obstruction / crossing rule has been officiated in the same way for the last 3 Years, but tonight, the Video Ref allowed one when the infringement was pretty blatant. Wire were 10 points ahead at the time and that pretty much killed the game. There was 20 or so Minutes left however so there was plenty of time for a comeback.
Can't really think of a sport that is so badly officiated, but they keep wheeling out the same old faces every Week. Conspiracy theories will no doubt also be bandied around as the Video Ref actually comes from Warrington.
