The Manchester City thread

I didnt really want to mention it,but........ im only going against Villa on october 15th :D

I think Swoops would go along with that too Punt, Blackburn away and Villa at home sets us up nicely for the derby, don't you lot also play United on the 15th? we need a rub hands smilie.

lol, maybe:embarassed

Well what about Tevez eh! refusing to play the spoilt little twat, can't say I've ever seen or heard of anything like that in my life.

No way back from here, I hope City sue him for every penny of his contract and I'm going to look forward to seeing joorabchian grovelling trying to get him out of this one.
It must be the worst thing he could have done in his situation.

Former Liverpool boss Graeme Souness talking about Carlos Tevez on Sky Sports: "He is one bad apple. He can undo all the good work that has been done (at City). He's a disgrace to football. He epitomises what most people think is wrong with modern football. It is totally unacceptable. He's a football player and he is paid to play. He is refusing to help his team-mates. It's all about him, him, him."

I can't disagree with that. In the interest of City they have to get rid, they cant move forward with him at the club, what a wanker.

ah now Slick, you were all up yours at United when ye signed him...he who laughs last last laughs longest and all that:D.
Ferguson is one shrewd operator, any player he ever offloaded no matter how big he was or thought he was, went backwards and never achieved what he had at Old Trafford, Tevez...Van Nistelroy, Beckham, Roy Keane, Heinze, Stam, Ronaldo, and the list goes on and on.......

Behave yourself man, Fergie wanted to sign him up but Tevez followed the lure of the dirty dollar, its amazing how United fans dream up things to suit themselves and the situation.

All those players you mention apart from Ronaldo (who hasn't gone backwards) were well past their sell by date by the time they left united.

I will praise Fergie though in the fact he takes no shite and any sign of it the player is out of the door which was the case of RVN, Stam and Heinze, Veron never went backwards either, he played the best football of his career once Fergie shipped him out, he just wasn't suited to the Prem.

Ronaldo won more with us than he has won at Real, he is more of an upset to the strict regime that Real try to enforce on their players and he is shit for his national team, UTD are better without him, did we miss him last season? Ronaldo who?. Veron was sold not because he was causing trouble, it was because he was f'n useless.
Tevez is right, there is more to that story I would think, Mancini is clueless and won't be there next season, he is a cnut anyhow, he tried to fcuk up Shay Given and Richard Dunne, 2 world class players!

I am slightly disappointed with your answer tho Slick, there is only one player that left United and went on to better things that I can think of.

Ha, ha, ha, Nooooo, it was'nt a Scot, any Scot that left UTD ended up lying in his own piss around Govan :D

Strachan went on to captain Leeds Utd to a league title I believe.

Got to be the defender for Barca young one we let go for cheap ermmm forgot his name now but numerous champions league titles and other titles

Leeds are our feeder club, feeder club, feeder club, no MickeyPaul thats certainly backwards....no Swoop, its not Bosnich either, I will leave it with you I must go to work to earn a few quid to feed my habit...
One more before I go, name 3 UTD players would have a connection with spiders?
Jayzus, Slick must be ripping with all this Red talk on his thread :angry
