Hope you don't mind Colbro - I've moved this harrogate stuff into the drunkard's thread. I'm not suggesting anything, just avoiding confusion. I'll sort your videos out too.
 

I'd like to think I could've done better with the same tools, but I do quite like this - especially the name. :lol
 
Gav escbet looks great. I think the problem with your menu drop downs though is to do with the z-index of the menu. Maybe its my browser but the menu seems behind the page text. I think if you add some kind of z-index to the menu css it should bring it to the fore. Im pretty sure thats the way to go from my experience.
 
or maybe its just because ive got images turned off in my browser :\
