The UNBEARABLES thread in association with Punt

Just watched the first 5 mins and it Looks good that Punt.
I'll try and find a podcast of it as I usually listen to that sort of stuff when I'm in bed, if not I'll watch it when I've got a spare half hour.

What I find funny about those sort of documentaries is that you could swap the Mancs for the Scousers and vice-versa and it would still be exactly the same:lol
Same arguments, same problems, same everything, they're the same people just different accents.

It's good to have rivalry though as long as it's kept in context and doesn't resort to violence because after all it's only a game but I've seen hate go off the scale because of it.

Strangely enough my two best mates are Scousers and apart from football I would trust them with my life lol.

My best mate is a Utd fan. Would you believe we've been knocking about together since we were 4 yrs old and have never fallen out over football. Never fallen out over anything tbf. I was Kevin Keegan or John Toshack in the school playground and he'd alternate between Steve Coppell and Gordon Hill.

Big game Sunday, i'm shitting it. Think you're going to give us a proper turn over this time, a few clear goals. Our defending has become worse than yours, cant keep a clean sheet for shit.

Nah can't see us turning u over Punt and that was before the injuries.

We just don't win at Anfield and tend to freeze, while Liverpool are always up for this game.
Weird because we rock up to Old Trafford with confidence.
Could have done without Ederson adding to our injury list but there goes, You had a spell without Alison I suppose but then again you didn't have Bravo as a replacement:lol

And for what it's worth, Liverpool are currently playing better than City for me at the moment but they can't fucking defend properly. There will be goals - at least 2. Erm......... I'll go for a 1-1 draw but if anyone is going to win it, it's the Scousers with the odd goal .... 2-1

Hearing Ederson being out since posting that, would be a massive boost for us. Brilliant goalie. We have a great chance if he's out.
 
Hope its not as bad as last years game at Anfield, gut instinct says it will be a draw
 
Shoul have explained a bit more - im expecting City to play a back 3, and 5 in the middle, to stop Scousers fullbacks getting forward
 
Defensively City were poor and maybe we got the breaks with a couple of penalty shouts there, i dont know?
But only a 3rd of the season gone and it's a small lead in reality.
Leicester are looking pretty awesome and a very big price at 40/1. I fear them as much as City.
Chelsea would need to beat City in a fortnights time, to convince me they could win it but that is possible. Definite top 4 though and i enjoy watching them play for Lampard.
 
He's a great player and very under rated but to be honest I think he's had a rather slow start to the season compared to Mane who seems to get better every season, plus Mane has become a match winner like Cantona was for United albeit different styles of play.
He was the catalyst that started United's Prem glory days and there's every chance Mane could do the same for Liverpool.
