BBC journalist filing his match report from Gillingham v Rotherham last night:

Simple four-sentence report. They managed to at least get one of them right.

Rotherham striker Lewis Grabban had a goal ruled out as Gillingham ended a run of five league games without a win.

How exactly does a 0-0 draw end a run of 5 games without a win? :thinking

Gillingham had a fantastic opportunity to score early on but Jo Kuffour smashed his shot wide when one on one with Paolo Gazzaniga.

If Kuffour really was one on one with Gazzaniga, I'd be surprised, but also pretty grateful that he missed, seeing as they both play for Gillingham :thinking

Grabban thought he had put the Millers ahead, but the striker was penalised for a handball in the build-up.

:hatsoffWell, I say they got that one right, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it really was Grabban rather than any of their other players.

Rotherham's Alex Revell had a great chance, but put his shot went wide as the League Two contest ended goalless.

"But put his shot went wide" :thinking

Does no-one proofread anything these days?

BBC News 24 had "militaryintervention " as one word this morning..

BBC website is shot to shit these days, terrible. Also Gillingham had lost the last 6

One of those was the Cup against Stoke though Swoops, so the Beeb did at least get that bit right, it was a run of five league games without a win.

We beat Hereford the other week without (apparently) getting a shot on target acording to the BBC's stats :eek

The BBC often used to put pictures of one of our players up and get the name wrong. In fairness, thay've got slightly better since we got promoted.

I see they've now corrected the first two paragraphs, not the last one though.

BBCs gone to pot if you ask me. That Marie Colvin that was killed today in Homs, think I've read her in the Times actually (get me) & I'm not knocking her reporting at all, but what was with the eye patch? I've read she lost an eye in Sri Lanka in 2001 but there had to be a less noticeable way of coping than looking like Rooster Cogburn :thinking hardly undercover is it?
