Fucking betvic-the most useless bookie Ive ever encountered have just closed one of my friends accounts without telling him.

They said its cos he opened another account.But that was with mcbookie not betvic-though it uses all the same odds and site layout.


Im guessing they wont honour any of the antepost bets if any should cop?

But if all bets are now void why havnt they returned the money?

Usually they close after youve won-not half way through a bleedin season.


Theyve also been aggressively cutting prices-more than Ive ever seen-often while my friend has been placing the bets!!!



I think none of the bets will cop-though one of the future hedges probably wouldve-but if one does and these fuckers dont pay up Im gonna make sure the racing post and rfo know all about it.

Not that they give a fuck,no doubt.


This year is the first time Ive ever seen a bookie do a whole load of handicap markets in running but for all I know betvic have been doing it for a couple of years.

Its been a v steep learning curve due to the unexpectedly big price changes...but if it becomes known by a few 100 people that these bets are a great way to bet Im not sure they will want to carry on.But if they do I reckon they will have to close a lot more accounts in running!


Their other(antepost) prices are usually CRAP,btw
 
I find that hard to believe Hotspur.

BetVic is one of the best bookmakers out there imo. 13 of my 14 trixies this season were all best price with BetVic, they are fast at paying out and not once in 8yrs have i ever had a problem with them.

They even have one of the highest ratings on Bookmakers review, who are very thorough with feedback etc.

What is it you dont believe punter?

That the account was closed?

That they have been aggressively cutting antepost prices often while the bets were being placed?

That their antepost prices are poor compared to other bookies?



It remains to be seen whether the bets will be honoured if any should win. they def should be.

I said hard to believe.

That they were the most useless bookie you've ever encountered. There's been some bad ones out there, down the years, never Betvic though.

I'm sure they will honour any ante post bets, why wouldn't they?

and the cons include,

" they close the accounts of sharp players"

"they change the odds while you are placing the bet" !!



Among the pros are good customer service-hmmm.I say hmmm cos every bookie nowadays has very good customer service in my experience-they have too.


And they mention good prices in some markets.

WELL,I dont dispute that they have some good prices. They had some absolutely FANTASTIC handicap prices only this season.

Which my friend bet on.

Yeah,sorry punter.You did of course say hard to believe and thats what I meant to say.

The reason that Im concerned that they wont pay up is because they told my mate that they closed his account because he has 2 accounts.

But he doesnt.


Unless the one with Mc bookie is counted?

But thats unfair cos how is anyone sposed to know?


The point is that if you break the rules all bets are voided.......arent they?

Thats what Im essentially asking.

They are the worst bookie Ive encountered.

Skybet is a close second.

It could be argued that skybet is worse.

But I personally dislike betvic more.

What they did this season-with the constant price cutting on handicap markets was pathetic.

All I can tell you punter is that betvic is one of only 4 bookies Im banned from.


And one of the others is no longer in business.So 3 bookies,one of which is the aforementioned skybet

I was surprised to see they get one of the lower ratings tbh. I know their prices are poor but they are another bookie i've never had a problem with.

William Hills is the bookie i try and avoid. Horrible bastards, them.
 
My favourite example was when I* included Leicester to be promoted in an acca.(The other selections were mostly handicap)

Their price was nothing special.Yet despite the fact that I knew enough about betvic to know that my stake would have to be someting like 1/6th of what it would be with bet365...

they cut the price while I was putting the bet on.....so that they were the worst price on leicester for 2 weeks!!


I literally have no idea why they would do that.


But I wasnt impressed.
