A couple of speculative Swiss top scorers. The Swiss apparently have trouble scoring; their top scorer in qualifying was defender Fabian Schar, and he's at a general 20/1 and is my cover.

Leverkusen's Josip Drnic has broken into the team; three goals in six games. I've taken Hills' offer of 7/2.

I don't know much about Switzerland or Ecuador, but 'experts' seem to think both are good going forward, and the Swiss have the stronger defence. So, a small bet on Switzerland DNB at the general 4/6.
 
Ecuador usually play at altitude - don't they ?

Doesn't really matter anyhow as ive backed Switzerland for small stakes. Also done Swiss, over 2.5 goals at 6/1.

I had a look at their squad and although there isnt a lot of well known household names a lot of them play for decent teams.
 
I don't know much about Honduras, and while they have a handful of semi-decent players in their squad, the 'experts' seem to think France should win comfortably, so I've had a nibble on the -1 AH with Bet365 at the not too generous but interest 13/40.
 
I've started with small stakes on correct scores. Think France will win heavy and i've started with 3-0, 3-1, upto 7-0,7-1

Decent sized bet -1, too.
 
France have impressed me in their pre wc friendlies. I'm surprised Progba is starting but I'm glad cause I've got him in my dream team.

They've been scoring for fun so I'm on France to score over 2.5 @ 5/2

I think France are slightly short here; favourites, yes, but in a game where a draw might sult both sides, and with Pogba rested, I've gone for Switzerland/Draw at Unibet's 15/13.
 
You could well be right TC but a win here is a massive advantage in the competition and i've got to go with France.

They could well improve but The Swiss didn't really impress me last game.

Cheers TC, Seen. That was near on perfect for me. The 3 goal margin was my biggest payer and i'm on France to be the Tournament Top Scorers E.W @ 16/1.

For the late game I'm on over 2.5 at Corals' 10/11. Both defences looked dodgy in their opening games (in fairness against better opposition) and given that a draw or defeat isn't much good to either side I'm assuming someone will have to attack at some stage.
 
Taken over (8/11) in the Honduras/Switzerland game. Only one side will qualify (except for a freakish result in one of the games) so I can see it being over. And I've had good fortune backing overs this World Cup. :crossfingers
 
Backed that Shakiri geyser's goal minutes on the spread betting. He's been the best player in the tournament for me.
