I also like Mexico for a decent run in the Tournament. Again, only small bets though.

Although i've backed a few others too, i really like Portugal as the outright winners. I'm still chipping away at them, adding a little bit here and there. I've asked three people this week, who they think will win it and all of them have said Portugal or..

The obviously way more important World Cup of Darts also begins today and was looking round for enhanced odds for any nation to win both. Surprised I could not find any as it would have made backing England a bit more tempting. Not many realistic chances, but Germany are 16's for both so had a double there. Austria are 66's for the darts and 150's for the football, so don't mind an outrageous punt on those unlikely outcomes.
 
Gone with Ali Al - Hamadi at 6's to be IRAQ's top scorer. Back with Ipswich after being farmed out on loan and will probaly be on the move again soon. Decent player though and can't see them scoring many as a team, so the 6's looks fair.
